37. Confusion

She stood there as she watched Ryan turn into a huge dog and run off as fast as the lightning. He was there one second and in a blink of an eye, he was gone. What was that?

Hearing sounds of painful grunting, she turned around to see the beaten boys on the ground.

Cèsar was laying down with blood trickling down his neck. Ryan bit him and he had these long teeth and red eyes. He looked like a vampire. The ones they tell in stories.

But he shifted into a wolf. What if, what if he's a hybrid? In twilight there was no such thing as a hybrid. It was wolves and vampires and wolves didn't move as fast as he did.

Iymani watched as the boys looked at each other terrifyingly and then looked at her as she just stood there trying to process. She thought they would have another go, but they broke off into a run.

They didn't get far as she saw Ryan's 'cousin' move at the speed of a vampire and slam them against the wall.

"Whatever happened here today, you do not remember it. You're going to feel sore, pain and you're going to remember that you and your friends ambushed Ryan, and he beat you all down like the pricks you are" Gio stated through anger and she could hear it.

Iymani was confused about what he was doing. He was staring focusly inside one of their eyes. "I do not remember anything from today but me and the guys ambushing Ryan and he beat us down like the pricks we are" He repeated back.

Her mouth dropped as he just called himself a prick. What just happened?

Releasing him to the ground, he did the same to another and Ava did it to the other two but a little less aggression. Ava sent them off walking away, but Gio shoved them to the ground, scaring them even further.

Cèsar was the only one left. Ava and Gio looked at each other and Ava made a face that was telling Gio no. However, Gio vamped over to Cèsar and yanked him up by his jacket.

She could see how his face was now being taken over by black veins as if he was going through centuries of ages at once. Then his fangs were visible and she just couldn't quite get this through her mind that this is really happening.

"Stop" Ava yelled and he flew a few feet away from them. While he was standing up, Ava bit into her arm and forced it into Cèsar's mouth. She never saw this in twilight unless you were feeding.

What is she doing? Just as they did the others, she compelled him and sent him off. She watched him walk away and figured out there was no wound. Her blood healed him.

It was as if nothing ever happened. But it did.

Ava then turned around to see Iymani still standing there. "G-" She yelled and Gio vamped over to her and grabbed her harshly by her face as if he was going to kiss her or something.

"Giovanni, Ryan said to leave her alone" She reminded him. Ryan. Where's Ryan? "I might have to disagree with Ryan on this one. She's a risk. She'll tell someone everything she saw" He thought.

"I would never tell anyone. That could get Ryan killed. Also you two" Iymani informed them. Humans are afraid of what they don't know. They'll kill them if they even believe her.

"You don't even know what you're talking about" He released her face and backed away. Honestly she feel like she does but she don't want to sound dumb.

"You're..... you're vampires" She said unconfidently. She wasn't sure. Some things don't add up but not everything you see on TV is real. What if the director of the Twilight movie knew of a vampire and got some information stemming from them?
