"Bags coming down the stairs" He shouted in warning. Taking the three bags, he slid them all down the stairs to Corey who would catch them at the end. "Why couldn't you be a normal person and just walk them down?".
That would be normal but too much work.
"Because I have more bags to get" He reminded him. Shaking his head, Corey threw the straps of the duffle bags and threw them over his shoulder. He entered his room and went to finish packing the rest of his stuff in the other bags sitting on his bed and floor.
Quincy has lots of stuff and these bags aren't big enough, so he needs about twenty duffle bags. It's more of a girl thing to have these many clothes but in his family, shopping is an every weekend thing.
"Dude!" Corey caused him to jump at the unexpected sound of his voice. "I need to start working on these werewolf perks". Because he can't be sneaking up on him like that.
"Werewolf perks?" He softly laughed. Entering his room, Corey moved a bag off his bed and sat down where it was sitting. "What do you call it?". They're perks. Walking inside his closet, he grabbed a handful of hangers and threw them on the bed.
"I call them strengths, but I guess they're perks" He chuckled. It's the same thing. "Here. Start filling the bags up" He instructed as he threw another set of clothes onto the bed. Corey looked at him like he was crazy but noticed the clothes weren't going to stop coming and he started moving.
He seriously can't wait to be around his kind. Werewolves to be exact. He's a human kid. Grew up around humans with no knowledge that werewolves even existed or it was a thing.
When he turned fifteen, his life changed. He turned into a big dog and apparently his parents knew about it. They were the ones to take him out into the forest and disguise it as a camping trip when they knew he would turn into a werewolf.
He was confused and they weren't helping. They knew very little about the supernatural world. Quincy's parents aren't his real parents. He figured that out when neither was a werewolf. He's adopted and let's say he wasn't the same after finding out about it.
He got adopted into a rich family. Though when he asked to meet his kind, they told him no. They've shushed him with money ever since. Not that he really cared because he loved shopping for himself. Just wanted to shop for others.
That's how it was until he met Corey. It's actually a funny story.
He was seventeen when he met Corey. Casually running in the forest. Something his parents did allow. Though he was only supposed to stay in the distance, he disobeyed and went deeper into the forest. He wasn't aware of the borders and territory stuff.
Remember he grew up as a human. Many werewolves came out of nowhere during his run. He's not one to be afraid and he didn't take their warning as a sign to leave and apparently overstepped his boundaries.
A wolf came at him and he's been a werewolf long enough to know how to use a wolf.
He knew what his wolf was because Corey explained it to him. He took on a wolf and surprisingly won. However, his cockiness got the best of him. He was then jumped by more than eight wolves at once. For once he just wished to be with his parents again.
He regretted being a wolf because he was going to die. His whimpers couldn't have gone unnoticed. Apparently, it didn't because Corey wolf came out of nowhere and shoved the wolves away.
Despite his attempt to get them to back down, they didn't. He learned later they were border control and it was their job to protect territory.
Corey wasn't border control. Just a known wolf. Which some disliked. He fought them all alone and his wolf protected Quincy like he was his family. Corey was badly injured and he could hardly breathe. Soon he took a few down and he got tired and growled as a warning.
