When he first saw the school, he was really surprised by the differences of normal schools. That was just the outside. However the inside seemed new and fresh. Like some things were rebuilt. It's technically the same way at Rebels Home.
Until class actually starts, students wait outside and talk to their friends or go into the cafeteria and have a seat. He couldn't take the noise outside so he decided to go inside which was the worst. It was extremely crowded and really clamorous.
Being inside didn't help. At least outside, the sound travels somewhere through the sky while inside, the sound travels through the halls and the cafeteria. Rebels Home was similar to this in a way but hardly anyone actually went inside except the younger students.
They didn't have their wolves so their ears wouldn't be as sensitive. People were on the court or at the tables or at their cars at Rebels Home. Instead here, everyone is inside the building as much as outside.
He doesn't appreciate the crowded areas where people are being rude and pushing without saying excuse me. That was also another thing he didn't like about human school. During his time outside, he already found the jocks. They had those at Rebels Home.
Along with the girls who were supposed to be popular. They clung to the jocks and he's sure a few were actually together and the others weren't. However he minded his business.
He did enjoy not being able to smell the stench of werewolves or the smell of dead vampires. Everyone smelt pretty alive. Surprisingly he couldn't really smell anything that actually stunk.
Hearing the loud bell from the school, he held his ears as the ringing was far from tolerant. At Rebels Home, they don't have a bell. Instead teachers have alarms and tell them when it's time to go or they just know. They don't have announcements either.
Instead it's a live video to give them their announcements. That's probably the only thing he will miss about Rebels Home. They were sensitive to their abilities because they were aware of them. He can't be expecting that here.
He stayed seated at the table as students were walking into the large crowd to get to class. It would just be chaos if he walked with them.
Reaching into his pocket, he grabbed his phone to take a look at his schedule. They have homeroom classes. That's new. They don't have that at Rebels Home.
He waited a while for the crowd to decrease as students made their way to their classrooms and he went to search for his. It actually wasn't that hard since he was able to see the classroom numbers without going down the hall.
When he entered the class, he saw the teacher prepping her laptop. Maybe she had slides about herself like every teacher. Besides highschool students at Rebels Home. They don't get 'all about me' presentations.
Students looked at him as they didn't know who he was, but he ignored it and went to find his seat.
He wasn't the only new kid as he could get that vibe. "Breakfast" He heard a female's voice from the door. Once again the loud sound filled the room of pushing chairs scraping against the floor and students moving around. Still they were talking.
"Hi" He heard from behind him. Turning around, there was a female he spotted outside hanging with the jocks behind him and there was also a jock sitting right behind her.
Glad she speaks English. In Brazil the official language is Portuguese but there's many who speak English.
He knows Portuguese. He had to learn it if he was going to attend school. Most kids at Rebels Home aren't from Brazil or were born in Brazil. They're technically settlers in a way.
