So...

I've definitely moved from the position of not wanting to write any fanfic for this series to wanting to writing crossovers involving certain characters, as there are definitely certain characters which have grown upon me.

However...

Having finished the first season I am still stuck on this idea I've seen it all. I can't talk about it much in a review, so I'll bring up the fact the final scene with the cursed wombs felt all to familiar to me, as if I've seen it before, in another series, yet I can't quite place what series I've seen it in before. In fact, there's just to much taking inspiration from other series for my liking. I mean, the part where Yuji and Nobara set each other up for the kill at the end is definitely something I've seen before, with something done from a distance without the villain being aware.

Is then the series plagiarism?

Well, given the fact I can't actually recognize what series I've seen that from before - no, but it also doesn't feel as if they're thinking outside of the box. And to be clear, they're not just drawing from Shounen series, let alone the ones which are currently super popular which are the ones most people are registering them as being inspired by.

As for characters - here are the ones I've come to like.

Fushiguro Megumi - Yet, I know I've seen his character before along with his shinshingumi powers.
Gojou Satoru - He's the Kakashi like character, the first one I noticed to be like other characters.
Inumaki Toge - There are quite a few characters with ability over words.
Toudou Aoi - In his particular case there's this type of character in every series, the super strong guy that is so it is rather expected, though the idol is a twist, though something that isn't new either.

In other words, the same problem exists, but the series also likes stacking philosophy after philosphy regarding how the world works without ever examining if there is a contradiction.
