Episode Four - Hole in the Sky

So, I was excited about the Altean's coming into place, but there was an even better surprise to the episode. Oh, and I wasn't surprised that the Altean's were evil in this one, all because Allura wanted revenge in that universe. The episode was awesome of most awesome, and is so far my favorite episode in the season.

Sven! Sven showed up. Yes, he's Shiro, but he's Shiro with a different name. Never is it explained why, but the tribute to the original series! There was even a tribute to the fact the "death" of said character in Go Lions. And Slav. I LOVE SLAV FROM THIS UNIVERSE! Oh, and the stories that one can tell with just this episode alone! I'm honestly crying from my joy!

Poor Keith, in the fact "Shiro" didn't recognize him. The Altean female is also instantly distrustful of Keith. Possibly because she suspects he is part Galra

Yeah, that was awesome of all awesome!

Episode Five – The Journey

Fandom begged the staff to let Shiro have a break, but they choose to do otherwise. The aliens point out the fact Shiro doesn't look Galra, and he points out he isn't Galra. Does that mean he and Keith aren't blood related? Not necessarily. They could still be half-siblings, or Shiro knows something that Keith and the others don't know yet, or he identifies as human, or he decides to not let them think he is Galra as that's a bad tactic. They are, after all, threatening to eat him.

We get a close up to Shiro's eyes. They've got the same shape as Keith's which is not completely circular, but diamond in shape. The only other person with the same eye shape was Allura., but Coran doesn't have said eye shape. Going back to the previous episode, the scientist also doesn't have the same eye shape, but the female Altean does. So, Keith has no purple skin, but has the eye shape that is similar to the Galra, but there is an Altean on the ship, and she has the same eye color.

Going back to the fact we found out Haggar is Altean, I've been thinking that a.) Alteans and Galra are the same species or that b.) both Alteans and Galra can activate the tech. Specifically though, if eye shape is an indicator, not all Alteans have said eye shape, so does it indicate something else as well?

Also, Shiro's long hair, it's similar to Keith's in the way it parts, but longer and definitely untrimmed. The beard though reminds me of Keith's dad, but again... all trimmed up.

Episode Six – Tailing a Comet

"Can someone Altean move this castle?"

As Lance worries about positions within the team. Keith's got more anxiety issues now that Shiro is back. Lance's is solved though with the fact Allura needs to pilot the castle. There's also the issue that black doesn't recognize Shiro as leader anymore, so Shiro's the one left out in a lurch, but he is able to take command from the ship. I wasn't surprised at that.

Also, dark Voltron anybody? Nope. Dashed before the episode was done.

Yes, the one Galra who looks like a Galra-Altean hybrid is the Galra Keith met in the Weblum.

Lotar's actions make of course no sense.
