Chapter 115: A barrier is put up by sound four and it is unique because those putting up the barrier are inside meaning there can't be any outside influence from others.
Problem: The Hokage can just take them out solving the problem.
Chapter 117: The same problem exists until the minions erect the inner barrier.
Problem: Last I checked only one of these minions have extra arms that are readily available as the twin with the extra arms is in a resting state.
Which brings us to the hard cold fact the third Hokage shouldn't have died, but the same logic can be applied to Rasa. We see him getting killed by the sword then it's the bone minion yet there is no sign of the bones where Rasa died. Both of these also occurred before we know about Rasa's power being the same as Gaara, so the way he goes down in both just isn't believable. These are the kind of plot holes which pepper the entire narrative of Naruto, but these are in fact major whoppers due to their deaths having such a pivotal effect on the rest of the narrative.
