"Where's Laila?" I asked.
"She's at school" he said. "Listen, she is no longer one of us"
I knew what he meant but I stayed quiet.
"She's a fallen angel, did you know this would happen?" He asked.
"Not exactly. See, She told me she would lose her grace but only if she was an angel when we were...you know."
"Was she?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Why did you let her do that?"
"I wasn't really thinking about it at the time until it was over with. She did it to save me...I didn't think it would actually take the darkness away but I feel at ease now" I said.
"Have you looked at yourself in the mirror?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"Go look" he said.
I got out of bed and walked to the restroom.
My eyes had gone from white to a bluish color...My body was still the same not that I'm complaining.
"Extend your wings" Michael said.
I took closed my eyes and concentrated. I opened my eyes. My wings flapped and they broke a vase that was nearby.
"Oops.."
"You'll get the hang of them" Michael said.
"What'll happen to Laila" I looked at him.
"Nothing. She's mortal now, I mean in my eyes and in the eyes of many celestial beings she's a fallen angel but to everyone else she's just a normal human. She's fragile but she'll feel normal soon enough. Let's talk about what you saw on your way back" he said.
"I have a few questions." I said.
"I have answers. Let's go talk downstairs" he said as he walked out.
I followed behind him and got stuck in the doorway.
"Your wings" Michael said.
Oh...right.
I retracted them back and followed him downstairs.
Father and Gabriel were sitting on the couch.
Gabriel: You fool.
Michael: Can it Gabriel, what's done is done. Laila made this decision, who are you to judge.
Gabriel: If he were dead, all of our problems would've been gone. He can't go to neither heaven nor hell.
"I've been to hell. I passed it on the way back..." I said.
Gabriel looked at Michael.
Michael: The darkness that was in him at the time allowed him to go through.
Uriel: Son, tell us about what Jezebel was doing.
"Recruiting an army. She's not going to rest until she gets what she wants but now that Laila has given up her grace to me, I'm not sure how this will turn out." I said.
Michael: She's going to start a war, you know how stupid those demons are. Thy ell do anything just to get a break from being in hell. This is bad, if she unleashes an army of demons it'll be unleashed in this city. This will be our battle ground so how are we supposed to evacuate thousands of people?
Gabriel: How is this OUR problem?
Uriel: Taehyung is considered one of us.
Gabriel: He's still an abomination, He's nothing like us. He doesn't have his own grace.
