Chapter 10
SANDRO’s Point of View
I look at my shirt after washing the dishes and I sighed in disbelief when I saw how wet it is. Damn it. Tsk.
Napatingin ako sa pintuan nang tumunog ang doorbell, it must be Vincent.
“Here,” aniya saka binigay ang bag.
“Thanks for this.”
“I have to go now.”
“Don’t you want to come in?”
“No, thanks. I have to go somewhere.” Tanggi niya sa alok ko. “Where’s Reign, by the way? How is she na nga pala?”
“She’s inside, taking some rest to gain her energy back.” Sagot ko naman.
Tiningnan nito ang kabuuan ko. “Ohhh, you got your shirt wet. You washed dishes?”
“Yeah,” I nodded.
“Guess you’re bad at it, huh?”
“Shut up, Vincent.” I answered him irritatedly. Ugh, so annoying. “What?”
He shrugged his shoulders. “I just have something in my mind.” He chuckled. “Don’t get mad at this Kuya but, I find you really cute today since you look like a husband taking care of his sick wife.”
“What the— cut it, Vincent!” saway ko rito. “Tsk! Enough with your daydreams already!”
“What? Hahaha! I’m serious, okay? And mind you, if only Reign isn’t brokenhearted right now? I would probably ship the two of you. I’ll be the captain of your ship and promise to keep it sailing—”
“Damn it! How dare!
“Believe me, Kuya. You two can be a great couple.”
“Why so blue?” tanong ko rito.
“I’m sorry to ask this but... how do you moved on from Annica, Sandeng?”
“I don’t really know how but maybe because we no longer see each other, talk to each other, or maybe because we lost connection?” I was unsure of my answers.
“But you still love her, right?”
Napalunok ako, “y-yeah...”
“If after almost a decade of not seeing her and having no connections with her yet still, here you are, loving her. Then, I can still love Roscoe, right?” Matamlay na tanong niya sa‘kin.
