The Christmas party was fun, and I loved seeing Eri try... she tried very hard to do it correctly. Not that I blamed her, Christmas was not something we did with Kai. I had originally not known anything about it. I wasn't going to do anything with it either. That was until Todoroki gave me a Christmas outfit. He wanted me to join in the festivities. I couldn't say no, so I went to my room and changed. I made it back just when Aizawa came in with Eri, also wearing a Christmas outfit.

When we were cleaning up after the party Todoroki spoke with me alone, his hand held mine as he spoke. 'I want you to intern with Midoriya, Bakugou and myself at my fathers agency.' I frowned at that. Why? That didn't make sense, nor would Endeavor ever want me to be there. 'My fathers idea, but I agree. I want you there as well.'

That's where I was today. With Bakugou, Midoriya, and Todoroki standing before a plain clothed Endeavor. "Welcome to working for Endeavor!" His face darkened before his next sentence was even out. "That's not what I feel like saying, though." I stood there in shock. Bakugou and Todoroki, unfazed by it. Midoriya was standing with his mouth agape. Me? I stood behind Todoroki with a slight scowl. What was the point in asking us here if that was going to be his expression. "Because Shoto asked, I gave my permission reluctantly, but I wish Shoto and (Y/n) came on their own."

Todoroki didn't move. "If you gave permission then don't complain." Bakugou said what he was thinking with no filter as per usual. That Endeavor was kind of cringey, and honestly... I agreed. Endeavor's love for Shoto... or maybe it was favoritism was obvious. Endeavor was wondering if Bakugou and Todoroki were actually friends.. I also wondered about this. Did Bakugou have friends? Or was this more of a I hate you less than I hate everyone else kind of relationship they had?

Midoriya thanked him for letting us intern for him. His blue eyes were piercing as he looked at each of us. What was he even thinking, and doesn't he usually have flames? I could swear he was usually on fire, but he wasn't right now. At the very least he had a fire beard and mustache, which were conspicuously gone at the moment. He even had actual facial hair? Did he start growing it after I rescued him or had he always had it? Maybe the flames kept it at bay and now that he wasn't on fire, there wasn't anything keeping it from growing out.

He looked slimmer too. Was it the suit that he wore that added muscle mass? I was deep in thought as we walked, Midoriya speaking just sounded like a distant buzz to me. Of course, before I could even get very far in my thoughts, he was on fire again after jumping over a railing. "Sorry, but I don't plan on looking after anyone but Shoto!" I was left staring at him as he ran away. "If you want to learn, then watch from the back!" The other three were already gone chasing after the flaming hero.

I was left on my own. "The hell? Where is everyone even going?" With a sigh, I walked casually until I heard screams. Only then did I pause time long enough to change into my hero outfit and ran to the area. I was the first one on the scene. What I saw before me was a man sitting on bubbles?

They seemed to be made of glass. "I received a divine message from the universe! Run. Run away, citizens! The corners of Pluto's mouth depict loneliness! The time of your demise... is near!" While he ranted on about his divine message I tested something. I wanted to see if I could either walk or run on the liquified glass. I didn't get far with that thought because he was moving.

Instead, I got onto the roof of some buildings and started following him, there had to be someplace that was easily accessible for me to attack. The glass now was starting to create something overhead. A larger glass bubble. When he hurled the glass at the ground I went to strike. Using the glass as a slide I managed to bring a knee to the back of his head as a flaming explosion came from below. The two of us were falling closer and closer to the now hot ground.
