No, I won't stand a chance against Midoriya. In a fight, Midoriya giving everything he has to run away, the only thing I would be able to do is keep him from running too far. "Let's do this, everyone!" We had a standoff for a few precious moments.

Bakugou leaned forward, his hair falling due to the rain. "We heard! That you unlocked the fourth's and Sixth's Quirks! Your looks totally different now! Damn nerd!"

Midoriya was still quiet, his Black whip holding him steady. "Thanks... for coming... Sixth!" There was an explosion of a purple cloud, so I took that opportunity to run. I could hear Bakugou's explosions behind me as my feet patered in puddles on the pavement. No one was going after me yet, after all, they must know that Midoriya is going to be the harder target. Another building exploded behind me, and I could see someone rushing in my direction.

Midoriya, most likely. A Pillar of ice reached towards the skies. It was thick enough to stop Midoriya in his tracks. Good, Shoto is there with everyone else. That means I don't have to worry about him finding me, that means I can just keep running. After all, Shigaraki and All for One are problems I brought with me. Problems I need to fix... somehow. Seeing Shigaraki acting like All for One was horrifying, as I remembered each experiment he tried. I might have been able to use Reset once, but there is no guarantee I can do it again.

Freezing time is even hard to do as I try to keep moving. As I ran down the streets, ragged breaths leaving my lungs, something came soaring over my head. Something falling. "Displacement." I was falling, and someone else was on the ground with Midoriya in their arms. Everything's so blurry, and someone in red is waiting at the bottom. "Kiri-?" My eyes closed as those arms waiting for me wrapped around my waist. My fall stopped in seconds. "Displacement." I got out of his grip, leaving myself standing next to Midoriya.

Kirishima came walking forward. "Midoriya, in the past! I was so moved by this thing that happened! When a kid the same age as me rushed out in order to save his friend! That was you, wasn't it. It doesn't matter if it's a special power or whatever! I think the you back then is the answer for us now!"

Turning my head, the rest of the class was standing behind us. Everyone was breathing heavily from running to catch up. Ashido was the first to speak. "Midoriya... (Y/n)! I don't want anyone else to go away! Let's stick together! Let's go to class again with everyone!"

I stayed quiet, turning my head to look away from them. Going back didn't keep them from coming, didn't change anything other than me running away from everyone. Even Midoriya. "I... wish I could... but... I'm scared. There are a lot of people at U.A. I don't want to cause them any trouble. Things can't go back to the way they were before..."

Bakugou stepped forward, stopping just a few feet from us. He was looking right at Midoriya. "When Shigaraki stabbed (Y/n) after taking my place, do you remember what I said?" He said something? No, I don't remember it. Neither did Midoriya, he said as much. "I said, 'Don't try to win by yourself.' There was more to that. My body moved on its own, and then I found myself on the ground, with (Y/n) stabbed. Just like when I was captured by the league, she was hurting again. I thought I should tell you. Midoriya, I looked down on you our whole lives... because you were Quirkless. You were obviously behind me, but I felt like you were way ahead of me, too. I didn't like it. I didn't want to see you. I didn't want to accept you. That's why I bullied you, to get away from you. I tried to feel superior by rejecting you.

"I was always losing to you. After getting into U.A., not a single thing went the way I wanted. Every day, I was made to feel how strong you were and how weak I was. It's not something that'll work itself out just by saying it out loud, but it's how I really feel, Izuku." His name. Bakugou said Midoriya's name. He never did that, so why now? I could see Midoriya's shock, hear it as he breathed beside me. Bakugou even bowed his head. "I'm sorry for everything. Everything you've done after inheriting One for All has been ideal. You've done nothing wrong. But right now, you're unsteady. There's a wall you can't overcome with just ideals. We'll take care of the things you can't take care of. In order to surpass the ideal, we need to save you, the refugees at U.A., and all the people in the city."
