Breathing heavily I tried to open my eyes hearing someone screaming my name. Who was it again, their voice was so familiar, but a crash in front of me kicked up dirt. I could hardly see through the cloud but just made out the same black and red spines. "Tomura, you can't... don't--" His voice shook me to my very core. It was All for One coming out of Shigaraki's body. "I... w-w-won't... do... what you say..." A blast came from above making him move slightly blasting and breaking the black and red spines. Shigaraki fell. Someone came over and lifted me before moving very quickly to another place.

I could just make out Iida's helmet. "(Y/n) and I... need to be with Shigaraki... Shigaraki's still.... After us. Iida, take Endeavor..."

A cool hand made its way to my face before a burning feeling hit every hole those spines left behind. "His regeneration's slowed down a lot... he must be getting weaker! Hado, keep pressing him like this!" Shoto... that's who was calling my name. It hurt so much, the spines, my face... everything.

Why can't Shigaraki just give up, why does he keep doing this? "Master!" The ground shook as a huge voice rang out, why was it shaking, where did Shoto go? My body was being moved again and I could just make out Machia from the ground.

When did he get here, ahh it's so hard to keep everything straight. Kai... what would you say if I Reset and you found me like this? "Shoto, are you all right?" He was fine, but I needed to remember and help Endeavor and them defeat him. What did he have again, his Quirk? What was it All for One did to him?

Think, don't listen to the haze, work through it. "Oh? Shoto's here too? This is great." Dabi... "That's mean. Don't call me that. I've got this splendid name already-- Toya." Toya? Who is that? "My face ended up like this, but I thought my family would recognize who I was. It's so cruel... so sad, really."

Family? Oh, that's right. There were four, I forgot Shoto told me. "Nah, (Y/n)." I hummed looking at him. The aftermath of that battle was not what I expected. I should have been there, but there was not much I was ever going to be able to do. Even as we stared at Aizawa. "What would you do... if you knew that Dabi was my brother? That, a villain... was someone I once cared for?"

I tilted my head slightly, what kind of a question was that. "Nothing? Unless you wanted comfort or something, then I could try. Blood may be thicker than water, but it's not what makes us... us. I am part of an underground criminal group by blood, raised by villains, and I thought I turned out alright. I have friends... people I care about, and you. That's more than I ever thought I deserved before meeting you." I took his hand in mine, holding it tightly. "Your father is a hero, a terrible man, or was one. He is working on it. You are more than he was. Dabi... is probably just a little lost. After all, you grew up with the same man, he just... went down the wrong path. There are some things that just happen, and we accept them. Right?"

I struggled, trying to get to my feet. I need to be here, for Shoto. "But I didn't forget. Without being told, I watched you this whole time. I'm not saying that everyone must be completely without fault. Just you. A pre-recorded video of my personal history is currently playing on all the TV's in the country and on the internet." Through gritted teeth, I kept my weight on one leg and limped forward. "Oh, no... I don't know why, but I'm starting to have fun! How could I make you suffer? How could I trample on your life?" My hand slid into his, my grip tight. "It's all I've been thinking about since that day! I didn't know why I existed, and I cried every day clinging to Natsu. You didn't know, did you? At first, when you completed your puppet, Shoto, I thought I'd kill him. But then, you unexpectedly became the number one hero! I-- wanted to make you happy.

"I was afraid (Y/n) might tell my secret if she ever found out. I was afraid you were going to die in Kyushu! I led Starservant and Ending to you one after another. Even though you'd wanted to be the number one hero so badly, it must've been a heavy burden." Shoto's hand twitched in mine. "You were soothed by admiration from the public, weren't you? The time you spent talking to your kids made you feel the bonds of family, right? You thought you could live properly if you only looked to the future, didn't you? The past won't go away. You reap what you sow. Let's fall together, Enji Todoroki-- Come dance with me in hell, won't you, Father?!"
