There were a few channels I had been watching on the news when All Might stopped by Recovery Girls place. I didn't know at the time what I was getting myself into when I agreed to go ahead and meet up with one of the heroes that were also going to the exposition. I had decided to wander off to the bathrooms when I ran into Todoroki, Midoriya and a few others from the class. "(Y/n)? What are you doing here?"

I shrugged. "All Might thought it might be a good idea for me to get a view of this side of things as far as heroes went. I only agreed to meet up with one of the other heroes here. I assume you all got invites as well?" I paused in my steps when I heard alarms blare. "Not again. I just can't seem to get a break." Were the words I muttered under my breath "Todoroki can you take these off. I think there is a switch on the collar you can freeze or something. In case of emergency they said, blah, blah, blah."

Todoroki nodded before freezing the collar around my neck. It let the metal crash to the floor as we listened to the announcement. "This is an announcement by the I-Island security system. We have received a report from the security system that an explosive device was placed in the I-Expo area. I-Island will now be in high alert mode. Residents and Tourists should return to their homes or lodgings." Meaning we were going to be stuck in here.

Even the shutters over the windows closed. "My phone has no signal. It looks like all reports are being blocked. (Y/n) how long until you can Time Warp a warning to any heros in the area?"

I shrugged. "Dunno. I haven't tried that before but it's at least going to be half an hour before I can use the full capability of my quirk. Until then... at most a few minutes to save our hides or give a warning about an area." Everyone was a little freaked. Elevators were inaccessible because of the security. "I think we should be prepared to see villains in the area. I don't trust the alert. It gives me a weird feeling in the pit of my gut. Especially if a place like this is shut down from just a bomb there should still be some way to communicate with police authorities."

The lady in blue seemed to agree with me. "Iida, let's go where the party is being held." The reason? "Because All Might is at the party." With that the girl led us to the party room, but as I suspected there were villains in the area. They were armed with guns and I recognized the villain with red hair and metal mask. He was one of All for One's students. One entrusted with some kind of muscle enhancing quirk and is known for long range fighting.

I kinda thought he looked like a Rhio with that mask on, honestly. But what was he doing in a place like this, what was the goal for being here? To retrieve a support item? Maybe something All for One needed? I tried to mull it over as Midoriya came back with news and I paced the hall. Something All for One needed... but what? Some kind of healing type item maybe?

The message we received from All Might just confirmed my thoughts about the villains in the building. Problem was that he wanted us to escape. "Escape would be near impossible. This place has security equal to that of Tartarus, villains would have a hard time getting out of there. Meaning we would have to wait for help, or shut down security ourselves. While I would be able to get there myself... I can't do the system. I'm not Shigaraki, no talent for that complicated stuff."

Sticky balls, Todoroki, and Earphone lady were all having a disagreement of sorts... though the kid did seem to understand the situation we were in. The question was whether we could just sit and do nothing... or give assistance where we could. Everyone made up their minds pretty quickly, and we were on the move to the 200th floor via the stairs.

At least until Sticky Balls got us caught by opening a door... idiot. Still, there was nothing more to do than move forward in hopes that we wouldn't be found out. Only to get blocked by shutters closing in on both sides. Unable to get to the stairs on the other side we went into the garden area thanks to Todoroki's ice locking the doors open and Jet Legs creating a hole for us to run.
