Taking in a deep breath, I felt my eyes twitch. It took me a second to open them, when I did... I wasn't where I expected to be. In fact I was lying on a couch in a warm room. What was I supposed to make of this? "Ah, you're awake now. That's good." I let my eyes wander to the side, something felt heavy on my arms and neck, but I didn't know what it was. "Care to tell me who you are, and why you were with the Villains?"

What I saw before me was strange. It was a... small talking mammal of some kind with a scar over his right eye. "(L/n)... (Y/n)... b-because they saved a-and raised me." His small eyes widened slightly before he looked off to the side. Letting my own eyes drift to where he was looking, I could see a man in one of the police uniforms standing against the wall. "W-what are you g-going to do with me?"

It was all I could think to ask. With all rights reserved... I should have found myself in a prison cell. They had a deal for me... that as long as I agreed to these certain conditions I could remain free. The conditions were that I had to live with a woman called Recovery Girl, and that I had to wear the limiters at all times. But they could be removed with specific factors leading to their own usage.

The second thing was that starting the next day, I was to join a class known as 1-A. I had never been in a school before, so it was going to be something new for me. Early the next morning I was given a physical exam with my limiters removed under strict supervision. There were 8 pro hero's watching every move I made.

I debated on using my Time Warp to go back to the previous day or even just pausing the world long enough to get back Kai. Yet the more I thought about it, the more I wondered why I was left behind. Why did Kurogiri only take Shigaraki with him? Was he only able to take him, was he injured despite my efforts to keep him from harm?

By the end of my testing I was ranked Third in the class ranking. I didn't understand it. All I did was pause time for the run and then step past the computer. I didn't do very well on the ball toss because my quirk wouldn't do anything with it. Yet, after the tests were over, the limiters were placed back on me and I was shown to my first teacher.

I chose to remain silent when they asked what my quirk was. After all, how could I explain the marriage if I didn't even know who my parents were? When they asked me about Shigaraki and Kurogiri, I didn't say a word. I refused to tell them anything that could possibly get them into any further trouble. The only thing I did say, was that I knew they would never hurt me... and would protect me from harm.

After all, they were the only people I trusted. Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and Kai. They alone raised me when I was young, found me starving and sick on the streets. Villains? Hero's? I didn't understand what made them any different, to me, they were my heroes. When the school reopened, the man who had been beaten to a pulp led me to the home room where I was going to be introduced to the class.

When we arrived, I opened the door for him. Everyone in the class seemed to be surprised to see him. "My well-being doesn't matter, More importantly, the fight is not yet over. I have two announcements. First is our new classmate. (Y/n), come introduce yourself."

Carefully, I stepped into the room. My eyes were glued to the floor, I knew which students would recognize me from before. So I was nervous. I could already hear the gasps and one of them shouting angrily. "What is she doing here? Shouldn't she be locked up with all the other Villains that were captured?!"

I flinched as I came to a stop beside Eraser Head. "Shut it, Bakugo. Listen to her introduction and I will tell you why she is here instead of a cell." The boy continued to grumble.

Lifting my hands, I hugged my arms closer to my body. "M-my name is (L/n) (Y/n), and... I a-apologize on Shigaraki's behalf f-for what happened to your classmates." I barely managed to get my voice out, and ended up scooting further behind Eraser Head. Honestly, these people scared me. With the limiter, I could only use Rewind 5 times and Time Warp for about 5 seconds. It wasn't going to be very helpful if I needed to get out of the way.
