When I woke up I ended up wandering down a hallway until I heard a tv news broadcast. When I entered the room, Shigaraki and Kurogiri were already waiting inside. "From Number One Hero to UA High School Teacher. This time, we will look back at All Might's work and his great-" Kurogiri cut the screen off as I took a seat beside Shigaraki.

The atmosphere was rather quiet, but as I turned to Shigaraki he was smiling under that hand of his. Instead of saying anything, he just got up and left the room. I shared a glance with Kurogiri. "Say, Kurogiri... how... how has Shigaraki been since I was taken by the police after the USJ incident?"

The man... well warp gate looked down in my direction as I fiddled with my fingers. "About the same, if not more irritable. You know how he gets." To that I nodded. I did know how Shigaraki got when he was worked up or needed time to think. For now though, I should probably start training. At least then that way I will be ready for whatever battle comes next.

As usual, the days passed slowly so I spent a lot of my time on physical training. Shigaraki even let me use his computer to research some martial arts moves. The only reason he let me do that was because I told him that I wanted to have the strength to protect him when the time came. My quirk wasn't going to be enough to cut it, and I knew that. Today though, I was watching him build a castle with playing cards.

My head was resting on the wood and his hand held his own head up. "I expect nothing less from Master, finding so easily the destination of those guys that I couldn't find no matter how hard I looked."

Kurogiri was watching as well. "It was worth having them on standby, wasn't it, Shigaraki Tomura?" Shigaraki just laughed causing the cards to fall, I frowned before freezing time and moving the cards myself. I stacked them in pairs so that they wouldn't fall so easily. Once I finished, time resumed for the others.

Shigaraki of course glanced at my little project. "I guess."

Just then, the bell above the door rang, leaving smoke coming through the open doorway. "I was contacted by the union. They said they could deliver the goods by tomorrow morning. They were hastily put together, so they don't look like much, but the quality is guaranteed."

Taking a few of the remaining cards I started to make a new stack. "I apologize for asking for something unreasonable."

Standing in the door was a man in a purple suit smoking a cigarette. I could smell the smoke so I brought my shirt up to cover my nose. "Hey, Shigaraki... Do you know why the union accepted your unreasonable request? 'Cause everyone's got high expectations of you. All but that girl you keep by your side, that is. If the League of Villains becomes active, then those smoldering in the dark will start to move. If that happens, then those like me can share in the profits."

Now I remembered this guy, I never did like him. "Don't worry. You'll soon be so busy you won't be able to keep up." With the man looking forward to that, he left us alone once again. So, I tried to remain focused on my card castle. "My pieces and prey have all arrived at the destination. Then, it's time to start the game." Shigaraki just started petting my head again. "At least you're having fun."

I smiled lightly. "It's nice, being able to use my ability freely again. Not having to worry about how long I have or how much I can use it before the limiters activate. How was your... scratching problem while I was out. I can see a few new marks on your neck again." I stated, he just smiled and continued to stroke my hair. Sighing, I finished the second tower before dismissing myself to train on the martial arts programs I had found.

As I continued to work on my physical strength, Shigaraki started to work on his plan for the heroes. At first for practice, Shigaraki had a dummy for me. Once I got decent enough with the dummy he worked with me. I held back so as not to hurt him, or if I did, we would just reverse time before practice. He seemed overall pleased with my progress.
