Chapter 15 Twilit Parasite DIABABA and (Y/N)'s past

LINK'S POV

When we went into the boss's lair the doors closed behind us. (Y/n) and I were having a look around we saw the spider bombs and they were on some broken logs and the water was a purple colour. Suddenly, we saw some bubbles in the water and then two giant plant heads came out.

"Wha!!?? how are we supposed to defeat something that's twice the size of a house!?" 

(Y/n) shouted in a panicked tone. I tried to keep her calm and relaxed and focused on the job.

"(Y/n) stay calm and we'll figure it out."

Suddenly, one of the giant plant heads tried to attack us but we managed to get out of the way in time.

READER'S POV

"Damn, attacking them at close range isn't gonna work we'll end up being killed before this battle can even begin," I thought to myself. Link then shouted at me, "Hey! don't just stand there (Y/N)! help me out!"

I looked at him and said, "Aren't you forgetting I'm supposed to assist you Link!"

I looked back at the plant heads and said, "Anyway, I've got an idea use your boomerang on those spider bombs and aim for their mouths!"

Link nodded his head at me.

"Gotcha"

Link got his boomerang out and then threw it at one of the spider bombs and then the boomerang flew at one of their mouths and then it swallowed the bomb and then it went back under water. Link then did the same with the other one and it also went back under water.

We stared at the water and I asked him, "Wait did we win?"

"I don't think so,(Y/N), that was just too easy for a boss"

Suddenly the spider bombs went inside the logs and then I noticed that something wasn't right. I shouted, "Link! Look over there!" We both saw some bubbles in the centre of the water and suddenly another plant head came out but it was much larger than it's friends. It roared at us and then it backed away from us.

"Oh man, here we go again!"

Link shouted with his sword and shield at the ready.

 "What are we gonna do? without the spider bombs, we can't defeat them"

"I hate to say this but I think those guys have got the advantage"

Link as we watched their moves carefully. Suddenly, the plant head on the right tried to attack us luckily we moved out of the way in time. I tried to attack it but my knives had no effect on it.

"Oh crap! their heads are so tough I can't even make a scratch on it." I said as I jumped away from it.

LINK'S POV

The plant head on the left tried to attack us but I used my shield to block its attack. Then we both heard a monkey we looked up and we saw the baboon from earlier. He swung across to the other platform and then he got something and it was a spider bomb.

(Y/n) smirked and said, "Well how do you like that? he's helping us for a change"

"Now isn't the time to criticize him, (Y/N), I have to use my boomerang on that spider bomb like last time."

When the baboon started to swing from platform to the other it was distracting the middle plant head this gave me the opportunity to use my boomerang on the spider bomb. I threw the boomerang at the bomb and then it flew towards the middle plant head and then it exploded right on his face and then it fell right in front of us.
