Chapter 59 The City In The Sky and The Dragon

READER'S POV

We were flying higher and higher into the sky until eventually we saw the city. We fell downwards and I said,"Oh crap! Not again! AAHHHH!!" Link shouted,"AHHHH!!!" We then landed in the water. I surfaced and said,"Link!" Link surfaced and said,"I'm right here! Are you all right?" I said,"Yeah, we were luck enough that this water was here to cushion our fall." Link then said,"Yeah, that was one hell of a ride to get up here." 

I said,"You might call that a ride, I call that a death trap! I think I lost my lunch back there." Link laughed and said,"I think you nearly lost your voice, you were squealing like a banshee when we were coming up here." I splashed Link and shouted,"Oh shut up! like you have no room to talk!!" Just then we heard something from above us and then Ooccoo came down as and she splashed into the water as well.

Ooccoo floated in the water and said,"Phew! Gracious, we made it back! Finally! Welcome, adventurers! this is the sky city of the Oocca. Erm, since you two came all this way... I guess I can give you two a tour of the city..." Ooccoo turned her head and she shouted,"EEEEEK!" She suddenly screamed and we Link and I looked up it was dragon wearing armour and it flew past us.

As it flew to the temple, I said,"Link, please tell that wasn't I think I saw." Link shook his head and said,"Sorry (Y/n) it is exactly what you saw." Just then another Ooccoo came running towards us and it said,"Ooh, goodness... Brave adventurers, you won't believe it! There's a dragon raging outside of the city walls... Ooh, I'm worried about everyone... I'm going to check in that shop for survivors!"

They ran off and I shouted,"Hey wait for us!!" Link and I got out of the water and ran towards the shop but as we got close enough, a plant head came out of nowhere. I sliced it off it's stem and it fell down off the ledge. Link and I then entered the shop. Once we got there I started to shiver a little and I said,"Excuse me, do you Ooccoos have something what's called a towel?"

One of them came flying over and she said,"Yes we do assassin, here you go." I got the towel and I began to dry my hair and Link did the same. Oocco came over to us and she said,"Ooh... Erm, sorry for earlier, adventurers..." Link then said,"It's fine, we didn't expect a dragon to pop out of nowhere like that." I then said,"And I'll bet that same dragon has that mirror shard as well."

Ooccoo saw this and she said,"Ooh! But you two are planning on walking around the city and taking it in, right?!" Link then said,"You could say that." Ooccoo then said,"I'm worried about the others ad this is an emergancy! I can't just stand around waiting! Please take me, too! I won't help you two warp to the surface, but I WILL bring you two back to this shop anytime!"

We both nodded our heads and Link puts Oocco in his inventory. ust the shopkeeper then said,"That garb you're wearing, you're an assassin aren't you?" My eyes widen in shock at this and I said,"Yes, how did you know about that?" The shopkeeper then said,"About four years ago before the dragon came, a woman rode on a golden griffon and she came up into the city, she said that she was going in hiding with that she went into the temple and we haven't seen her in a while, except she comes in here to get some ammo once in a while but since that dragon came we haven't seen her for a while."

I said,"Four years ago...? no..it can't be..." Link asked me,"What's wrong?" I shook my head and said,"Uh, no, it's nothing, anyway, since Link and I are going into the temple, what did this woman look like?" Ooccoo thought for a moment and she said,"She has (H/l) (H/c) hair like yours, (S/c) skin and her assassin outfit has navy blueish colour and on the inside it has the colour red." I then said,"I see, I'll keep an eye out for her."

Link then said,"(Y/n), we should get going." I nodded my head and said,"Right." We left the shop and as we were heading to the temple I thought to myself,"Four years ago huh? that was also around that time when my parents died in that barn fire, I guess this must be another mysterious assassin that'll have to find out."
