Chapter 28 Shadow's Confession

LINK'S POV

(Y/N) and I were back in Kakariko village and then we both heard the light spirit.

It said,"Heroic Link...Assassin (Y/N)... North of here, across the plain and past the great stone bridge, in the lands guarded by the spirit Lanayru. You shall find one who you seek..."

After the light spirit stopped talking to us (Y/N) said,"North huh? that's where my home is Castle town." Our conversation was interrupted when we saw the others and Colin up and walking he said,"Link... (Y/N)..."

Colin fell to his knees and then I dashed over to him and he said,"llia... You've got to save llia!" Colin then said,"Those monsters left me with the other kids, but they must have taken her somewhere else!" My widen what he just said and then Colin said,"Whenever I thought I couldn't go on, I would think of you, (Y/N) and llia and hold on, Link..."

Colin got up and he said,"See? I... I'm fine now." (Y/N) and I smiled at him and I got up and then Colin said,"Remember what I told you back in Ordon, Link?"

FLASHBACK...

"When I grow up, I'm going to be just like you, Link!"

FLASHBACK ENDS...

Colin smiled and said,"So you don't have to worry about me any more! Go help IIia!" Renado came over and said,"Leave the children to me. I will watch over them, I swear it. Do not let their fates trouble you two. Go to those who need you."

"Don't worry Renado, we'll do our best." (Y/N) said. Renado said,"In Hyrule, countless tales are told of the ancient hero...and your deeds bring them all to mind. May the graces of the great goddesses who shaped Hyrule bear you on your way.." Both Renado and his daughter bowed to us and then Beth and Talo did the same.

READER'S POV

After they finished talking to us Uncle Bill came over and he said to me,"Aye, you be careful oot there my wee lass the path back to castle town isn't safe any mare."

I smiled and said,"Don't worry, Uncle Bill, I'll be fine I can take care of myself I'm not a scared a little child any more I can finally face my auntie and my cousins and I don't care what they say they'll be having the last laugh sooner or later when they see me dressed like this anyway." Uncle Bill then said,"That's my wee girl."

Uncle Bill ran up to me and then he hugged me tightly and then he let go of me and he said,"Before you go, I packed everything you might need in the saddle bags ammo for your crossbow, food, water and I also packed a medical stuff just in case."

"OK thanks Uncle Bill." I said. Link went the bomb shop and I went over to Diablo and he looked happy to see me. I had a think about what Gor Coron said to me so I told myself that after we've dealt with the twilight that's surrounding the Lanayru province I need to find this assassin hunter he or she must have any idea what this creed is about. I stopped stroking Diablo's head and I went into uncle Bill's shop and I said to him,"Uncle Bill, I'm going for a quick shower."

"OK, my wee darling." he replied. I headed up stairs and I took off my outfit and the weapons that were attached to the belt. I turned the shower on and before I went in I looked around to make sure no one was watching me and the coast was clear.

I stepped into the hot hot water and it felt so good to get the sweat off me from when Link and I were in death mountain. But then I felt a presence near by so after I finished cleaning myself I wrapped a towel around myself and I stepped out of the shower and I looked around the bedroom and then two hands covered my eyes and a familiar voice said,"Hey, guess who it is?"

"Shadow I know it's you." I said to him and then he moved his hands away from my eyes. I smiled and said,"Honestly, I still haven't got used to that entrance and what are you doing here?" Shadow then said,"I came here to check up on you to see if you haven't burnt to a crisp yet."

I slapped his head and said,"Hey, watch it you, I'm not going any where any time soon except we're going back to the Lanayru province that's where the remaining twilight is."

"I see," he said as started to walk towards me and then our face were inches away from each other and then Shadow and I got closer and then we kissed. We both backed away a little and I leaned in for more and then we kissed passionately and then I wrapped my arms around Shadow's neck and then he wrapped his arms around my waist and then I felt him pick me up and he laid me on the bed. Shadow stopped kissing me and then he smiled at me and then he placed his head on my chest and then he whispered,"I love you."

"Shadow..." I wrapped my arms around him and I held him close to me and I kissed his head. I asked him,"Shadow, there's something I want to ask you." Shadow looked at me and said,"What is it?" I said,"Who is Gina?" Shadow sat up and he said,"How do you know her?"

"Link and I met her when we were in death mountain and for some reason she knows me and my brother and the other assassins, do you know anything about her?" I asked him. Shadow gave me a worried look and he said,"I'm not sure how she knows you or your brother but all I know, she's you-know-who's daughter and she claims she was there when some of the assassins were killed."

"I see thank you, Shadow." Shadow smiled at me and then he leaned in and kissed me again. Shadow got up and then he said,"You better put some clothes on before your uncle comes in here." I sat up and I said to him,"All right but can you please turn around and don't peak."

"(Laughs) I don't intend to." he said. Shadow stood up and then he turned around and he was facing the wall while I got changed into my clothes. While I was getting changed I kept looking at Shadow to make sure he wasn't peeking at me and he wasn't, he can be quite the gentleman at times.

"I'm done," I told him. Shadow turned around and he smiled at me and then he stroked my cheek and said,"I'll see you soon, (Y/N)." Shadow kissed me on my lips and then he teleported out of the room.
