Chapter 20 The Wrestler From Ordon Village

READER'S POV

Link and I got to the village and then the Mayor saw us. He shouted,"LINK?! (Y/N)?!" He took a closer look at us and said,"Whoa, it IS you, Link! (Y/N)! you're both safe and sound! Your clothes... What happened to you two?" We got closer to his house and he said,"C-Come quick! Inside!" We got off our horses and then we headed inside his house.

After we explained about where the kids were he said,"I see... So the young'uns are in Kakariko Village! Well, that's good... Renado's an old friend. If they're in his care, then we can relax."

Mayor Bo then said,"So... Don't keep me waitin', you two! Tell me of my little girl! llia is with the rest of 'em, right?" He said.

"I'm sorry, mayor Bo but she wasn't there with them". I sighed and said. "...Oh! I see... That ain't what I wanted to hear... Ahh... But Link, (Y/N)... I guess I need to think of all five of those poor kids, not just my own... They're all in danger. What I should be askin' is how I can help out..." he said. Link then said,"Well actually there is, Can you help us with the Gorons of Death mountain".

Mayor Bo said,"What's that now? The Gorons of Death Mountain?" he asked.

"Yeah and Renado said that you went up against them at their strength and we hope maybe you could help us with that?" Link said. Mayor Bo said,"I see... So Renado told you that... Well, it's true...I did defeat the Gorons in a contest of strength and earned their trust. ...With the help of a little secret."

"With a help of a secret? what does he mean by that?" I thought to myself. Mayor Bo said,"I CAN teach you the secret...but can you two promise me that you absolutely, positively will NOT disclose it to anyone?" I said, I promise not to breathe a word about it. Link said,"OK, OK we promise just tell us what it is".

"Good. All righty, then. Absolutely no one!" Bo said. "Don't worry our lips are sealed" I said.

LINK'S POV

Mayor Bo said,"Come this way." He led us into a large room and the platform looked like some kind of ring.

He then said,"Link, (Y/N), you've heard of sumo wrestlin', right? Gorons like to match strength in sumo contests. Luckily for you Link, the basics of sumo are the same as stoppin' chargin' goats... You wanna hear more?" I said,"Link I think you should hear this besides Sumo wrestling is a man thing NOT a woman's thing I'll just sit back and watch."

Mayor Bo then said,"All righty, then. I'll teach you the basics of the ways of sumo. If you're gettin' in a sumo match, chances are you're in an arena like this. The first fella to push his foe outside the arena wins. Step forward and grab your foe, Strike a fleein' foe and sidestep an attackin' foe. Three techniques, all of 'em pretty basic. Master all three and you'll be shovin'folks out of the arena in no time, lad!"

"...So, there you go: the basics of sumo. Need to hear 'em again?" I shook my head for a no and he said,"Rather than explain a lot, why don't we just get to it? Come into the ring, lad."

READER'S POV

"I'll you boys to it". I said. After I said that I was about to head outside but I turned around and I noticed Link's bare chest as he took off his tunic. I blushed bright red then I rushed outside as quick as I could.

I got outside and then I thought to myself,"AAARRGH!!! what is wrong with me?! Why am I even falling for Link? I mean sure he is handsome and all but still was it necessary to look at his chest like that?!"

"(sighs) I swear something is definitely wrong with me Diablo" I said to him. Diablo then moved his muzzle to my hand and then I petted his nose and then I began to scratch his face. I smiled and said,"(giggles) you don't really care about my problems do you? you just want a lot of attention but I'm wondering what happened to your last owner, was he or she killed by the enemy?"

Diablo nodded his head for a yes. I said,"Sorry about that, but listen, once we've dealt with this whole mess and get to the bottom about the twilight and if I get my ranch back you can come and live with me, how does that sound to you?" Diablo nodded his head again and seemed really happy about it.

"I'm too sure how log Link is going to be but I think I'll let the village know about the whereabouts of the ordon kids." I thought to myself. I got Diablo's reins and then I led him to different houses so that I can tell some of the villagers that their children are safe.

TIME SKIP...

I was sitting outside of the mayor's house and then Link came out. I said,"How did it go?" Link then said,"I managed to beat mayor Bo and his secret was using the iron boots that he got from your uncle". I rolled my eyes and said,"Uncle Bill, I should've known he did something like this for mayor Bo anyway let's get going."

We got onto our horses and then we headed back to Kakariko village.

LINK'S POV

We were trotting on the path and then I said,"Hey (Y/N), there's something I want to ask you" She said,"What is it Link?" Link then said,"Back at the forest temple, there was someone who looked just like me and for some reason he seemed to know you, who is he?"

Once I asked her that question, her eyes widen in shock and then she said,"um, someone who looked just like you Link and he knows me? oh come on, that's crazy talk Link" Suddenly, Epona and Diablo started to panic.

I petted Diablo's neck and said,"Whoa! easy Diablo!" Link then said,"Epona what's the matter?" Diablo started to swing his head upwards like he was trying to make us look at something.

"Diablo! what are you looking at?!" (Y/N) shouted. Then we both looked in the same direction and it was the boar riders the ones that kidnapped Colin and the others.

I shouted,"It's them!" (Y/n) then said,"well don't just stand there! let's get a move on! hiya!" (Y/N) kicked Diablo's side and then he went for a gallop. I shouted,"Hey (Y/N)! wait up!" I kicked Epona's side and then she also went for a gallop.

"We have to stop them! they might be heading towards Kakariko village!" I said. (Y/n) then said,"I know!" I thought to myself,"This is really bad! if they get to the village there's a chance they might kill the ordon children! We need to hurry!"
