Chapter 70 My Decision

READER'S POV

Ganondorf was now defeated Hyrule was save once again. Midna returned to the Twilight Realm but she destroyed the mirror after she left. It broke our hearts after she left and destroyed the mirror it would mean that we would never see her again, but I knew that she did the right thing to destroy it because if she hadn't then another enemy would have came along and they would have tried to take over her realm.

After we said our goodbyes to Midna, there was one more thing I had to do before I headed to castle town for a celebration and that was to hide the Apple of Eden. I was in the Temple of time's vault and I placed the Apple on the pedestal and said,"Until the next chosen assassin comes to this world, you will remain here far away from the Templars reach. Our ancestors will watch over you and protect you until the time is right."

The apple glowed brightly at this and I looked at some of the symbols it showed me and I watched as how they showed me the first civilisation's history. The apple then stopped glowing and I said,"Thanks for showing me this but, you must remain here." I said as I walked out of the room and then the door closed. I then looked at the button and I said,"Maybe I should change the locks on this. I then drew symbol on the door.

I then said,"Now no one will ever think about coming here to steal it again." I walked put of the room and I walked out of the time portal and Zoro was waiting for me. He stood up and said,"Ready to head to Castle town?" I nodded my head and we left the forest. Zoro and I made it back to Castle town and everyone cheered for us and Link who also saved Hyrule.

We stood next to Link and Zelda came to us and said,"Link, chosen by the gods and (Y/n) chosen by her ancestors, on behalf of Hyrule I'd like to say thank you the both of you for protecting us all." Link and I smiled at this and Zoro ruffled my hair. Just then my Aunt came over and said,"Pardon me for interrupting princess, but this doesn't change anything because I'm still keeping the ranch and during travels you still can't find your father's will."

Zoro and I were disappointed at this. Link then said,"So what? we will find a way to pay back that bill not matter how long it takes." I smiled at Link and just then Rusl came over and said,"Actually there's no need." We looked at him and Zoro said,"What do you mean Rusl?" Rusl smiled and said,"(Y/n), is your last name (L/n)?" I nodded my head and Rusl went into his pouch and said,"I think this belongs to you."

Rusl gives me an envelope and I said,"What's this?" Rusl smiled and said,"Open it and you'll learn soon enough." I opened the envelope and I read the letter and my eyes widen in shock. Zoro then said,"Are you OK? you look a bit pale." I handed the letter to Zoro and said,"Zoro read that out to me and tell me if my eyes are not deceiving me."

Zoro took the letter and he read out the letter,"'To my daughter, (Y/n), I'm sorry to have leave you and your brother. However, I'm proud to call you my daughter. Now that I'm gone from this world, I leave my land my ranch and my assassin's equipment, from your loving father, James!' it's the will that you've been looking for sis!" I smiled brightly and Link then said,"That's great news (Y/n)!"

Aunt Mary and my cousions stood there in shock about what happened. Daisy said,"No way!" Maize then said,"That's not fair!! we were supposed to keep the ranch not you!" Aunt Mary then said,"You little brat!" Zoro then said,"Hey, the ranch is not yours anymore." Willson looked at the will and said,"He's right Mary, the Ranch is no longer yours according to this, the ranch rightfully belongs yo (Y/n), so that means you three had better move on out of there."

I smirked at them and then Aunt Mary marched over to me and she said,"You little runt! I never liked you in the first place!" Suddenly we heard a Griffon's squawking and then it landed in front of me. I smiled at who it was, I said,"Looks like news travels fast doesn't it? mother." Mother gets off Thor's back and she glared at Aunt Mary and she said,"It's been a while, Sis." Mary stood there in shock and she said,"Lucy?! you're alive?!"

I held back my laugh because it was too funny seeing everyone's shocked faces.

A FEW DAYS LATER....

I got changed into my farm clothes that I got after I got my home back. I then opened the door of my house and I looked at the Ranch and it brought back memories. I leaned against the pillar of the house's roof and I looked at Zoro and he was feeding the Coocoos that we got from the Ordon villagers. I looked mother and she was brushing Diablo's coat. I smiled at them both and I then walked towards the fence and I sat on it.

I watched as Aunt Mary and my cousins do some of the hard labour around here. I waved at them with a cheeky smile and they just glared at me. I rested my cheek against my hand and I looked up at the sky and I thought to myself,"It's hard for me to believe that I finally got my home and my family back together but, a piece of me wishes that my lover was here."

I then remembered about those two and I then had a think about who I choose. I then thought to myself,"Of course, it's totally ovbious who I should be with, my heart has been telling me to be with him the entire time."
