Chapter 21 The Rescue And Shadow's feelings

COLIN'S POV

I was talking to Malo but then we all heard some rumbling noises and from the corner of my eye I saw the boar riders the kidnapped us Talo ran away and I was about to head inside the hideout but Beth wasn't moving she just stood there and I knew that I must be brave.

I ran over to Beth and then I shoved her out of the road and then I was blacked out.

BARNES'S POV

I ran outside to see what all the Co-motion was and I saw the enemy again. He took off his mask and I moved my melding mask to cover my face.

READER'S POV

Link and I managed to reach the village but we saw that their leader has captured Colin he was held him up and then he and the other riders rode off. Link shouted,"That guy is going to kill Colin!" I frowned and shouted,"Not on my watch!"

We were about to head to another part of Hyrule field but then my uncle came out of his shop and shouted,"(Y/N)! CATCH!" Uncle Bill threw a sword at me and then I caught it. I shouted,"Thanks uncle bill!" Uncle then shouted,"Go get him my wee darlin!" Our horses jumped over the gate and then they ran as fast as they could.

LINK'S POV

We managed to catch up with the leader but when I looked up he has tied Colin on a pole. We looked back at him and he raised his hand as a sign to challenge him. We unsheathed our swords and then he used his horn to alert the reinforcements.

"Oh man, talk about unfair" I said. (Y/n) then said,"Don't worry! you deal with their leader leave the reinforcements to me!" I said,"What! (Y/N) don't!"

"Now is not the time for arguments! just deal with him now!" (Y/n) said as she kicked Diablo's side. Diablo reared up and then (Y/N) galloped towards the reinforcements. I shrugged my shoulders and said,"Oh well, I tried to stop her." After I said that I went after the leader.

SHADOW'S POV

I watched the fight from a distance and I noticed that (Y/N) went after the reinforcements, what was that hero thinking (Y/N) can't look after herself.

LINK'S POV

I chased after the leader and I sliced his Armour a couple of times but he kept using his horn to get the reinforcements but luckily (Y/N) managed to stop them by using that sword that Bill gave her. After I broke his Armour he lost his horn and then he sat back up on the saddle of his boar and (Y/N) shouted,"Link! he's heading towards the Eldin bridge! don't let him get away!"

His boar jumped over the fence and then I followed after him and when I got there (Y/N) was about to follow me but then an archer used a fire arrow and it set the fence on fire.

READER'S POV

Diablo was going to jump over the fence but the fence suddenly caught fire.

"Sorry Link, I can't make it this fight is all yours!" I said. The leader's boar reared up and then it charged at Link but when they got closer link sliced his body and then the second time he eventually made him fall of his boar. The boar then charge right through the fence and then I went after it.

Eventually I grabbed it's reins and then I managed to get Colin off the pole. Link came after me and said,"(Y/N), is Colin OK?" I looked at Colin and said,"Don't worry, Colin is unconscious but I think he's going to be all right, come on let's back to the village everyone is going to be worried.

TIME SKIP...

LINK'S POV

A few minutes and finally Colin woke up. He said,"Link...(Y/N)... Is everyone...OK?" He looked at everyone and said,"...Good." Colin then looked at Beth and said,"Beth... I'm sorry. You know...for shoving you. Are you mad?" Beth shook her head for a no. Colin looked back at me and said,"I... I think I finally understand." "understand what Colin?" (Y/N) asked.
