Chapter 42 Heading to the Gerudo Desert

READER'S POV

After we got the master sword I explained everything to Link and Midna about meeting my brother, the creed and about the Apple of eden. I also told him about how i got the apple from the hideout when actually it was a fake and I told him what the note said. Link then said to me,"So that's what happened when I was in the water temple but this thing that you're looking for, are you sure your old man gave it to someone who lives in the twilight realm?"

I said,"My father may have fooled everyone before, if what he said in his note is true then there's still a chance for me to take back the apple before it falls into the wrong hands." Link then said,"You might be right but what if Zant or Gina has it what will you do then? Have you ever thought of that?"

"If Gina or Zant has the apple then I will have no choice but to kill them myself and take the apple back from them." I said.

LINK'S POV

I looked at her with a surprised look on my face and Midna then said,"If you're that determined to get the apple back then we will help you."

"Thank you Midna." (Y/n) said. We got out of the forest and then I asked (Y/n),"Hey that note said the mirror chamber is in Gerudo desert, how do we get there?"

(Y/n) smiled and said,"Don't worry I know someone who can help us  he's part of that group that Telma mentioned from before." I said,"All right then let's get going." We got back to hyrule field and I picked up a horse grass and blew on it calling Epona and Diablo to us once they got to us we got on their backs and we headed back to castle town. On the way to Telma's bar (Y/n) spotted her Aunt and her Cousins again and she wasn't happy with them at all. I said,"Oy, keep calm we don't have time to mess with them." (Y/n) said,"Yes I know, let's go before they see us."

READER'S POV

We headed into Telma's bar and when she saw us she said,"Oh my... If it isn't Link and (Y/n)!" We walked over to the bar and she said to us,"You two made it! How have you two honeys been?! Mercy, but you two have have good timing. I was just talking about you two!"

She turned to the group of people in the corner of the room and she said to them,"Hey, everyone! Introduce yourselves! This handsome young man is the infamous Link and some of you might know this pretty young lady, (Y/n)!"

She then turned back to us and said,"You two remember what I told you before? These are those friends I mentioned, the ones who are trying to help deal with all the troubles in Hyrule. Actually, there's one more of us, but there's been a disturbing turn of events in the eastern desert, so he's gone to check it out. He's an older man name Auru. If you two happen to meet him, definitely take the time to talk with him, OK, honeys? Well, you've come all the way here, honeys, so why don't you relax a bit. Why don't you two be sociable and talk to these folks? They're a jolly bunch."

We did what she said and they were friendly to us and I then saw a hooded man in the corner of the room and I knew who it was so I grabbed Link's hand I took him over to meet my brother. I said,"Link this is my brother, Zoro." Zoro then said,"It's nice to meet you, hero." Link then said,"You must be the bounty hunter Zoro wow you two look like twins." I giggled and said,"That's what everyone used to say when we were kids."

Zoro then said,"By the way (Y/n), did you find it yet?" I said,"No not yet, but I'm on the right track and I think I know where the mirror chamber is and there's someone who might be able to help us, do you know someone named Auru?"

Zoro then said,"Yes I know who that old guy I saw him heading towards Lake Hylia you should try there." I thn said,"All right thanks Zoro." I was about to leave until Zoro grabbed my hand and he said,"Remember, watch out for enemies and also keep an eye out for the templars they might be hiding somewhere out there." I smiled and said,"Don't worry I'll be fine I'll do my best to get the apple back." Zoro then said,"OK sis, good luck."
