Chapter 65 Gina And Zant Fall

READER'S POV

I clashed swords with Gina while Link deals with Zant in another dimension. Zoro was still being bound by the Apple's magic so he had no choice but to watch my fight. Gina pushed me back and I flipped away from her. Gina then smirked at me and she said,"The tables have turned! No more am I that weak little girl but I am a goddess!!"

Gina used the Apple's power and she created clones of herself. The clones had me surrounded and I looked at them all and I couldn't tell which one was real or which one was fake. I thought to myself,"Stay calm..."

I closed my eyes and I used my eagle sense and I knew that the clones that were surrounding me were fakes. I then heard the real one's heart beat.I opened my eyes and I sensed my target. I ran past the clones at full speed and I saw the original one. I was about to stab her but Gina caught my wrist and she said,"Nice try but you're gonna have to do better than that!!"

Gina headbutts me making me stumble a little. I managed to get back on my feet and Gina continued to smirk at me. Zoro shouted,"(Y/n)!! Fina a way to get the apple off her! without it she won't as powerful as she is now!" I nodded my head and Gina then said,"That might work however, you're gonna have to find some way to do it, besides, you're no match against me anyway!"

Gina said as she created a fireball and I was ready to dodge it but Gina used the apple's power to bind me as well. I said,"Crap! I can't move!!" Gina chuckled and she said,"So long! Nice knowing you!" Gina threw the fireball at me and I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but it never came. I opened my eyes and I was perfectly fine. Gina looked shocked at this and she said,"What!! How the hell are you still standing?!" I looked at my wrist and I noticed that it was glowing. I thought to myself,"Father's bracelet!"

FLASHBACK...

"This bracelet might be able to protect you from harm but remember, it can protect you from spell attacks however, if you were come to face to face with Gina and if she's got the apple it won't be able to protect you from it's power."

FLASHBACK ENDS...

I smirked and I thought to myself,"Thank you Father..."

I looked at Gina and she said,"Something was protecting you, oh well, at least the apple has taken an effect on you that much I know of." Gina walked towards me and she got her hidden blade out and she said,"Too bad whatever is protecting you, it won't repel this!!" Gina was about to stab me until Shadow popped out of nowhere and he tackled Gina to the ground.

Gina drops the apple and Zoro and I were released from being bound. I saw Shadow and he held Gina down and he said,"The Apple (Y/n)! grab the apple now!!" I saw the apple rolling towards me and I tried to grab it but Gina used her teleportation and she grabbed it as well.

She and I tugged and pulled on it and I said,"Let go!!" Gina shouted,"You let go!!" I frowned and shouted,"I have just about had it with you!!" I pulled the apple towards me and I got my hidden blade out. I raised my arm and I stabbed Gina in the neck. Gina was gasping from having her throat stabbed and I shouted,"Go to hell! And take your friends with you!!"

I pulled my hidden blade out of her throat and then her blood splatter onto the floor and she was coughing out blood. Shadow stood next to me and we both watched Gina collapse onto the floor. She looked up at us with dying eyes and she said,"You...traitor Shadow *Gasp!!*"

SHADOW'S POV

I just glared at Gina and I said,"I maybe a traitor to you and Ganondorf, but I've already turned my back on that life years ago after I found the one I love." I said as I looked at (Y/n) and she understood when I meant. I looked back at Gina and she weakly got onto her feet and she said,"But...Shadow...as long as...my father is still around...you can never be free...my father will avenge me...hehehe and he will kill that assassin...he will rule the world!!"

I heard enough and I unsheathed my sword and I stabbed her through her heart. Gina gasped in pain at this and I said,"I don't care! as long as I'm around I will protect (Y/n) with my life." I pulled my sword out of her chest and Gina fell backwards and then her body turned into black dust. The only thing that remained of her was her black assassin's outfit and some of her accessories.

READER'S POV

I looked at the apple and I could feel how powerful it was and I understand why Gina wanted this powerful but now, I'm glad my old man can finally rest in peace. Just then saw Midna and the three fused shadows spun around above her and then Midna took them back.

After the light dimmed down Midna looked down at herself and she was still an imp. It was confusing for us because we thought that if we defeated Zant she would back to normal. Just then Zant said,"Y-You...TRAITORS!" We all looked at the throne and Zant was sitting there with his head hung low without his helmet. Midna glared at him angrily and said,"Traitors, Ha! You want to know why none would call you king? It was your eyes, Zant. All saw it, a lust for power burning in your pupils.. Did you think we'd forget our ancestors lost their king to such greed?"

Zant then said,"Midna... Foolish Twilight Princess... The curse on you cannot be broken..." Zoro then said,"What do you mean?" Zant then said,"It was placed on you by the magic of my god and his daughter! The power you held as leader of the Twili will never return! Gina may no longer be here with us but, already he has descended and been reborn in this world..."

We were all shocked by this. Zant then said,"As along as my master, Ganon, survives, he will resurrect me and Gina without cease!" Zant said with a creepy smile. Suddenly red streaks came from behind Minda's head and then they stabbed Zant in his chest causing him to blow up like a balloon and he popped just like that. We were were all shocked at Midna's move. Shadow said,"Whoa! Where'd that come from?!"

Midna placed her hands on her face shocked and said,"I... I used a fraction of the power that's in me now... I did THAT using only a fraction of my ancestors' magic?!" Zoro then said,"It would seem that way, but that maniac had it coming." I then said,"I agree with you there but the good thing is we got this back from Gina." I said as I held up the apple. I looked at Shadow and I said,"Shadow, I knew all along that you were with people like them."

Shadow looked at me shocked and I said,"I knew because you were with Gina I had a feeling that you were working with her and Ganon so, I forgive you." Shadow looked shocked and he said,"(Y/n)?!...thank you." I smiled at him and Link then said,"All right enough with the flirting you two! Look!"

We looked at Midna and she had her head hung low for a moment and she then turned to us and said,"Everyone! Now is the time! We must save Zelda! The evil power Zant was wielding... I couldn't take it from him. But at least I still have the magi of my ancestors..." Midna rubbed her hand and said,"With it, I can return the cherished power Zelda bestowed upon me..."

Midna opens a portal and she said,"Now! Let's go! Princess Zelda is waiting!" I then said,"Of course, we're gonna go to Hyrule castle and save the Princess." I looked at Zoro and Shadow and I said,"ALL of us are." Zoro nods his head with a smile on his face and Shadow looked shocked and he said,"Right, besides, I've got some making up to do for the Princess." I smiled at him and then we went through the portal.
