LINK'S POV

Midna teleported me to Death Mountain and we both saw that large rock and it was still stuck on the same place where it landed. Midna came out of my Shadow and said,"This thing has been here for a while now, but it's still pretty hot..."

I nodded my head for a yes and then Midna pointed at the rock with her red hand and then she made the thing float and then it disappeared into the portal and then she teleported myself back to the Zora Domain.

READER'S POV

"That woman, what the heck is her problem with me? If she's that jealous of me she would've killed me already now that I'm in this form, so why didn't she do it?", I thought to myself.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard something when I looked up I saw that large heat rock and then it came crashing down luckily I moved out of the way in time. After that rock crashed into the ice the water came flowing down into the dried up river and hopefully into the lake as well.

After I saw some of spirits come out of the water I saw Midna and Link so I went over to him and I said,"Good work Link." Link smiled and said,"Thanks (Y/N), how are you doing?" I looked at my leg and said,"My leg feels a lot better now after resting for a while anyway everything should be back to normal now let's go."

We were about to leave until we heard a voice it said,"Wait!" We both turned around and there was a female Zora but she looked as if she was some kind of ghost. She said,"Please, you must allow me to thank you for revitalising my people and this spring, which is the water source for all lands of Hyrule. In life, I was the elder of this Zora village and the queen of my people. I was called Rutela."

We both walked a bit closer to her and then Midna said,"Not to be rude, but we didn't exactly do it for you guys..." The queen said,"The dark ones... They raided this village and, as a message to my people, executed me before them. Young man... you who take the form of a proud beast... I have something to ask of you. When the dark ones descended upon our village, I sent my young one, Ralis, to Hyrule Castle to inform Princess Zelda of our fate. But...I fear danger followed him from this doomed place. I feel it. His presence grows fainter to me over time... But my time in this world has passed, and though I would give it gladly, I no longer have a life to risk in his rescue. Please... Would you two save my dearest, Prince Ralis? If you do this thing, I will bestow upon you the protection of water. This power will grant you the ability to swim and respire in very deep water as if you were a Zora. Please... Save my son..."

Before she vanished she said to me,"White wolf, I know who you really are, you are an assassin... I'm sorry but I will allow you to save my son but I won't give you this power either... Please, forgive me..."

The queen then vanished and then Link looked at me with a worried look on his face but I said,"Hey don't give me that look I'll be fine besides, you and I both know that I have some business I need to take care of."

Link then said,"OK, let's go." I said,"Right!" After I said that we went outside and when we did it was raining and the water level was really high and not only that the current was really strong too. Midna then said,"Looks like the shock of that impact not only raised the water level, but sped up the flow, too...This water should flow all the way down to the Lake. Why don't you let it take you two there?"

At first I was nervous but then Link gave my an encouraging push so I nodded my head and then we both jumped into the water and then we both jumped into the water and then it suddenly pushed us all the way to the Lake.

TIME SKIP...

LINK'S POV

I woke up and when I came to, (Y/N) wasn't with me I'll bet we must've gotten separated after we dived into the water. After I got up Midna said,"Ugh... Aren't you awake yet? Look! We got washed all the way down to Lake Hylia, just as I predicted... And it looks like we're right in front of the spirit's spring, to boot. Talk about lucky... Well, let's go! Snap out of it and get to the spirit!"

Midna came onto my back and she said,"Don't worry we'll find your friend after we've seen the spirit OK?" I nodded my head and then I went into the spirit's spring and when I was inside there was the Lanayru spirit. It said,"I am...the last of the spirits of light..consumed...by twilight...Hero...Chosen by the gods...Assassin...chosen by her ancestors...you both have...done well to make it this far... Gather...my scattered Tears Of Light...that were stolen by shadow... Gather them...in this..."

The light spirit gave me the vessel of light and then said,"I am sure...you know by now...the forms...that these dark insects take...when they steal...our light... In this shadow relem...of twilight...the insects...are invisible...like the humans...of this world... Collect...my light... Lift the final cloud of twilight...that threatens to cover...all of Hyrule..."

"I hope (Y/N) knows about this as well," I thought to myself.

READER'S POV

I woke up and when I looked around Link and Midna weren't with me. I got up and I was back where I started before we headed to Lake Hylia I got out of the water and then I saw familiar figure it was Black wolf. After I got out of the water I dashed over to him and then he saw me and said,"Hey (Y/N), where's Link?"

I said,"I don't know I think he's back at Lake Hylia we got separated after we helped the Zora out of the frozen water." "I see so it was you two who released the water I should've known."

I said,"(Giggles) does it even matter? I'm here with you now I'm glad you're here to keep me company." Black Wolf smiled and said,"Same here." We got up and then we both started to go for a walk together. We talked about a few things and after we walked across the stone bridge we were back at the ranch when I looked at it I remembered everything I used to do with my parents and my brother before the fire happened.
