Maybe - just maybe, Jisoo fell in love more deeper than ever intended to and maybe - the fear of hurt doesn't matter as much as the smile of Park Chaeyoung and maybe - again just maybe, that it was all a mistake but then again they are still married
So yeah - just maybe.
But there will be days when she wonders what the hell did she do with her life - she's not questioning or doubting her love for her wife, the love she feels for Park Chaeyoung is uncontestable and unchanging but - what she does question is why her wife has a kid on her arm when she goes home on a Friday night
Jisoo was a bit speechless - she stared at Chaeyoung then the kid on her arms and her eyes drift the chicken on Chaeyoung's other hand, "Uh...I think you might have misheard me - I said Chicken not child"
"Jisoo, this is Ella and El this is Jisoo - she's my wife"
"Yeah - I'm gonna have to rethink that title until you explain how did this...uh little human got here"
Chaeyoung sits on the sofa after setting down the chicken on the kitchen island, "you remember Lisa?"
"That depends"
"She's your cousin's wife - and this cute little munchkin is there kid...well foster kid"
"She's my cousin and I didn't know they fostered a child together?"
"I wonder why that is"
"Yeah, me too"
Chaeyoung shoots her a glare, "Anyways Jennie's out of town for a client meet and Lisa is coming with and they can't bring El yet so they arranged for us to babysit"
She trusts her wife and her intelligence but every time she's with Lisa they managed to screw up more than once, "I need to know - you did it legally right? Like her social worker knows, right?"
"Of course! I'm lawyer you know"
"Of course I know, I did marry you" she looked at El and motioned at Chaeyoung being crazy which the kid returned with a small chuckle, "So were babysitting?"
"Yep, for a week" Chaeyoung answers giddily
"Don't worry, kid" Jisoo assures the child on her wife's arms, "We're just like your parents - just cooler and richer"
"I love how you refer to them as my parents" and of course the first time the kid speaks it brings a knot in Jisoo's throat
"Damn, kid" she mutters and her eyes widened when she realized what she said, "I'm gonna be the worse parent ever" she looks helplessly at Chaeyoung who just looks endeared - kinda like the way she looked at Jisoo during the first months of their relationship
"yes!" El cheers and Jisoo looks at her questioningly
"Me and Lisa made a bet that you will say that - she said you'll say it after a day, Jennie said I should bet for an hour tops"
"Manipulative and cute - you really are their kid and it's Lisa and I"
"Jennie told me you might do that"
"Do what?"
"Correct my grammar"
Chaeyoung just smiles listening to the two conversation - Jisoo with kids brings an unknown feeling to her heart
"And what else did she tell you?"
"She gave me a list on how to annoy you"
