A Jisoo Kim proposal one shot AU

It all started at Seulgi and Irene's wedding - Jisoo was seated with her group of friends which includes, Chaeyoung, her girlfriend.
Jennie had dragged Chaeyoung to the dance floor while Sehun, Suho and Bambam cheers them on with whistles and hoots
Lisa and Jisoo were left laughing at how adorable their partners are, "I want this " Lisa suddenly says looking at Jennie
"Want what?"
"A wedding, to settle down"
Jisoo just nods, the ring box on her suit pocket gets heavier - she can feel it burning a hole in her skin.
"Yeah, it would be nice to have this"

A few weeks later Jennie visits her in her office with coffee - "So how's the planning going?" She didn't miss the hint teasing in her voice
Jennie was the only person who knows about her proposal planning to Chaeyoung, She wasn't gonna trust Lisa with that. "Speaking of, I need a photographer - if only your girlfriend doesn't have loose lips"
"Listen I was thinking doing like a Rapunzel kind of thing - we both don't want public proposals" She adds
"Yesterday you were thinking of proposing in a ferris wheel - maybe let's just list things for now until you can decide for sure"
"What are you doing here, anyway? aren't you supposed to be bothering your girlfriend"
"You make sound unemployed"
"Its cause you are"
"I'm not and Lisa is on a meeting spree - her whole day is booked"
After Jennie left, Jisoo turned her mind to her actual work - thinking of things revolving proposals are making her dizzy. She better think fast or she's gonna go crazy thinking of ways to propose.
And thanks to Jennie distracting her from work she had to take an overtime to finish her reports, by the time she got home, Chaeyoung was sleeping at the sofa while the TV was still on.
She stirred awake as soon as Jisoo sat beside her, "Hi" Chaeyoung said in her sleepy voice that made Jisoo melt
"Did you have dinner already?" She asked, Chaeyoung nodded, her eyes still half closed.
"I brought chicken and beer" Jisoo adds, "I'm not opposed to having a second dinner" Chaeyoung says finally finding her energy
She grabs the chicken and beer of Jisoo's hand, "I'll prepare this - you can change"
Jisoo smiles knowing the chicken will probaby be almost gone when she finishes.
They set up Stranger Things on Netflix and enjoyed the beer.
Both was focused on watching when both their phones went off with buzzing and bell sounds.
Chaeyoung was the first one to picked up her phone and she squealed and jumped off the sofa
"What?! What happened?" Jisoo asked in panic and surprise
Chaeyoung was too busy scrolling to answer
"What happened?" Jisoo asked again and Chaeyoung showed her phone
