"This is ridiculous" Jisoo sighed and ran her hands on her face, she was meeting with her PR team along with the board - she's set to be announced as the new chairman of her grandmother's corporation and the board wanted to make sure they are all in the same page when it comes to publicity
"Jisoo...you can do whatever it is that you want after you established a foothold but until then you're not doing anything that would make other people ask questions"
"You know damn well what I want-"
"-Well, whatever that is that you want will have to wait because your grandmother insisted as well as other partners that we hold out a press conference for your new position"
Jisoo mock gasps, "You're pimping me out to the public?"
"Funny - I'll have the team send you guidelines. In the meantime, stay out of the public eye"
"That is funny because the only time I'm caught in public scrutiny is when I hang out with your kids" Jisoo jokes and she's a little bit weirded out how their looks resemble their kids, "Fine, I'll do my best" she caves

"Well, this is a nice surprise" Jisoo mused as she enters her office and finds Chaeyoung sitting on her chair
"I brought lunch" the lawyer says with a grin and Jisoo can't help but smile too
"What's up with the ghetto outfit" She asks Chaeyoung who's dressed in an all black outfit
"The media is still hounding me"
Jisoo wanted to get angry, the paparazzi always had a way in getting under her skin - whether she's the target or not but in all fairness Chaeyoung was supposed to get married 2 months ago.
"Maybe it's time we hire security" She suggests
"Jisoo..." Chaeyoung protests softly
"What? I'm just hiring a couple people to make sure your safe. It will just look like I'm a concerned friend"
"You know that's not how the media and the public will look at it once they figured out it was you" Chaeyoung sighs
"Fine, then you hire your own security - just to keep you safe you know"
"I'll be fine - what you should be thinking about is how you're gonna go 1 week away from the public eye when it's Taehyung's birthday in a couple of days"
"I'll just send a gift" she shrugs
"You're gonna skip Tae's birthday party?"
"No" Jisoo smiles
"Tae's birthday parties are awfully wild and public" Chaeyoung says without meeting her eye
"You don't wanna come together" it was more of a statement than a question and Chaeyoung avoids her gaze
