Henry sulked off towards his office. It had been like this for weeks. Afton had been so distant and Henry had begun to fear that he might have said something. Granted, hiring Jamie Boseman to work with them as an additional business manager hadn't made Afton the happiest, especially seeing that Boseman was doing his best to shove Scott, the current business manager, out of the way. Afton had hired Scott himself and he had the utmost faith in him, but Henry couldn't help but to think that Scott was too young to handle all of the stress, he was blind sighted by Boseman's suppressing demeanor.

But after being brushed off for the third time that day by Afton, he felt crushed. He loved the man, especially with his wife gone and his precious Charlie dead, he found himself relying more and more heavily on Afton. Maybe the British man was beginning to find his clinginess annoying, after all, he had lost two of his children, and he didn't seem to be as broken as Henry. Henry couldn't help but to think he was over exaggerating. It made him feel selfish. Just as he turned down the employees only hallway, a tall figure stepped from one of the offices and looked down on Henry, smiling softly.

"Ah, just the man I was looking for." He said cheerfully, walking up and putting a hand on Henry's shoulder. He felt small next to Boseman, the man was incredibly tall and his frame was well filled out, so that he wasn't scrawny. Picture Scott but with a little more muscle on his bones. His distinct Irish accent and the deep tone he conveyed it in seemed to immediately soothe Henry's worry's.

"Can I help you with anything?" Henry asked politely, clasping his own hand over Boseman's gently.

"Yes, I was wondering if you would come with me to speak in private? My office?" He suggested, turning his hand to better match palms with Henry's. The blonde man found himself struggling to contain himself.

"Of course." Henry found himself saying before he could think straight. His voice had gone involuntarily husky. "What were you just doing, by the way?" Henry asked quietly, as Boseman put a hand on his lower back to guide him to walk beside him.

"Just speaking with Scott. No big deal." Boseman purred gently. He opened the door to his office and nudged Henry inside. Henry went on shaking legs and stood in the center of the room. He felt almost awkward. He was fine, he was a grown adult and shouldn't feel like a child, but under the gaze of Boseman, he definitely felt small, and for being five foot ten, he wasn't used to the feeling. Boseman came into the room, shutting the door behind him and locking it with a soft click.

He walked up to Henry, undoing the top two buttons of his white button down shirt. Henry knew his face flushed. Afton was the same way, he would saunter up to him and undo his shirt slowly before... he stopped himself and sat in one of the office chair. Boseman leaned against the desk and stared down at Henry with the same possessive gaze that Afton would give him. Henry squirmed.

"Tell me what's the matter. You seem so heart torn as of late." Boseman said gently, pushing off of the desk and moving to kneel on the floor in front of Henry. "So tense." He said and with a quick motion, his hands were on Henry's thighs, squeezing them gently.

"N-no, I've been fine. everything his fine." Henry said, pushing himself back into the seat. He didn't know what he had been expecting, and, in all honestly, he fed into it.

"I've noticed you listen to much to that Brit. Afton, right? You're the owner of this place, so why listen so much to what he had to say, hm?" Boseman scoffed and Henry felt his heart drop. Boseman and Afton held a mutual hatred for each other, and even though Afton had been distant with him as of late, and even a little rude, a part of Henry shut down when someone trash talked him. Afton was his, so why who was Boseman to talk bad about him?

"There's nothing wrong with that..." Henry mumbled defensively. There was nothing wrong with Afton. Boseman pushed away from Henry, standing abruptly.

"Of course you would say that..." he whispered pinching the bridge of his nose, "tell you what, come over for dinner tonight. I can tell you've been lonely, so allow me to keep you company." Henry's heart leapt. It had been forever since he had dinner with anybody. Afton had been... too busy, and his wife was obviously unavailable as he no longer had a wife.
