POV CHAN

"Chan, it's me", he heard Felix from the other side of the door and opened the door. The younger slipped in and gave him the clothes he carried in his arms like his life depended on it.

"Thanks Lix"

He took the black hoodie and sweats to pull them over his aching body. He looked into the mirror and started to wash his face with cold water as a weird smell got into his nose.

"Lix, did something happen to you?" He turned around, water dripping from his hair.

"Nuh-uh", Felix shook his head his eyes shimmering innocently. Chan raised an eyebrow, not quiet believing him but letting it be for now.

"Let's go, maybe we can attend at least thirty minutes of our class"

They hurried down the hall and towards the classroom. As they entered the class was working silently on their projects. Felix and Chan bowed to their teacher and scurried to the table with Jungkook and Jisung.

"Leni, I didn't know you attended this class", Chan said as he sat down. The Angel looked up from her current work and smiled at him.

"I kind of hid somewhere in the corner", a faint blush dusted her cheeks, "Are you okay?"

Her blue eyes pierced right through Chan, making it impossible to breath properly.

"Yeah, sure", he answered breathlessly and turned away in fear of his wolf unlatching again. He could smell a hint of disappointment coming from the Angel as she focused back on her work.

"What are we working on?", Felix asked noticing the tension and trying to change the subject.

"Painting mutants from mythology", Jisung handed them over some papers.

"These are stories about them and we should paint how we imagine the mutant would have looked like"

Chan sighed and started to read the history of mutants.

"Leeknow and Hyunjin came over earlier and wanted Sungie to help them with an artproject", Jungkook told out of nowhere while sketching peacefully.

"No way", Felix looked up from his papers staring at Jungkook in disbelief.

"It's really not a big deal... ", Jisung mumbled obviously uncomfortable in this situation.

Chan looked over to the table where the two latters were sitting and drawing their sketches. It was only then that he noticed that ne never really watched his surroundings until now. He saw Hyunjin for the first time yesterday but they attended the same class for years as it seems.

"They seemed nice", Chan heard Leni mumble and wanted to growl at her, his protective alpha-instincts kicking in but as he turned his head and looking at her he felt unusually calm.

"Maybe they are misunderstood creatures after all", Chan mumbled and earned surprised looks from everyone since he never said something like this. Jungkook glanced at him in disbelief while Leni smiled up at him.

"That's exactly what I thought earlier"

It felt like warm wind swirled around them, carrying him up into the sky. He couldn't stop himself from smiling at her, embracing the warm feeling in his chest starting to grow. Until it grew a little too much and he felt all hot again. He turned back to Felix looking at him slightly panicked.

"Shit...", the freckled boy muttered under his breath and tried to find a solution.

"Relax, Chan. Nothing happened", he said in a low frequency and looked him in the eyes. His shimmering eyes looked like liquid gold and made his heartbeat slow down. Chan couldn't help but to feel like he was a small puppy being calmed by his mother.

"You smell weird", Jungkook interrupted the moment of silence.

"Huh? No I don't", Felix hissed breaking the eye contact and taking his notes back into his hand.  He tried hard to pretend like he was writing down notes while skimming the text.

"Not you", Jungkook replied and looked at the omega with sharp eyes. "Him", He motioned to Bangchan with his head.

"I do?"

Chan sniffed his clothes while Felix started sniffing the air too. Jungkook just continued to sketch unbothered.

"Like... rain. Warm rain", he mumbled and glanced at Leni.

Chan tensed up. Did he smell like her already? He heard from childhood stories that alphas tended to take over fractions of their mates smell but he never had actual footage of it.

"Aaah, you are probably sitting too close to her", Chan tried to chuckle it off.

"Me?", she looked up and shuffled away from Jungkook.

"Sorry, I didn't want to bother you"

"You don't", the Lion-shifter smiled at her and pulled her back to where she was sitting before.

Not being happy with how close the two were already but seeing it as the only way to prevent the other alpha seeing through him he decided to bare with this situation. For the second time in this period he started to read the assignment.

Felix seemed oddly unfocused, shuffling around and small huffs escaping his mouth.

"Lix you okay?", Jisung asked after a while and Felix stopped all his actions in an instant.

"Yeah, sure", he replied and started to scan the room, his eyes stopping at Leeknow and Hyunjins table. Jisungs eyes followed Felix' and now both were staring at he rising Demons. The two looked like they were unbothered but at some point Hyunjin looked up, and winked at them. While Felix just turned away, scanning the rest of the artroom like he was looking for somebody in particular, Jisung turned crimsonred and hid under his wings for the rest of the period.

Chan shook his head. Felix smelled different, Jisung acted weird towards Demons and Seungmin actually ate lunch. To top it of, Chans wolf mated in the middle of a schoolday and he couldn't help but notice Jungkook being atracted to his mate.

Great. Things were going great...
