I huff annoyed like and glare at my brothers. They were a nervous wreck standing in my hospital room with me. They knew what to do for my stab wound, considering I would heal on my own in a few hours. They put some ointment on it and wrapped it in gauze, the best they could do for me.

All the doctors and nurses were dealing with a lot of injured wolves and I did not take any offense to it. They had to do their jobs and I was going to live. Silver or no silver.

The boys asked the doctors for a liquid solution of the concoction for silver, saying that one of the wolves needed it and they could address it. And that's how they got it for me. They used a syringe and spread it over my wound before putting the ointment and gauze on it.

I would have still healed if I didn't have the solution, it just makes it easier and speeds it up. My healing would have slowed if I didn't use it.

Now, they were standing in my room and they wouldn't leave. They didn't want to keep me unguarded, which I understood. It just slightly annoyed me.

"I'm fine."

"You were stabbed," Roman retorts.

"And I'm fine," I say in a duh tone. "I'm gonna be fine."

"Not when Brody gets here," Konan grumbles.

I look over and see him leaning against the wall near the door, with Roman sitting next to me on my hospital bed.

"He's going to be in a frenzy when he finds out that you're up here and hurt. You know that."

I stare at him, his brown eyes not leaving mine. It's almost like he's making sure that I'm understanding him. As if I don't? I didn't want to worry Brody, which is the sole reason that I went downstairs in the first place. Because I didn't want to worry him.

"And I still have to tell him," I huff out. I give Roman a sad look, "How do you think he's going to react? Do you think he's going to hate me?"

Roman sighs a little and wraps an arm around me, pulling me into his side. "Baby sister, he's not going to hate you. But you do need to realize that he's probably going to be hurt. He told you that he was one, and you didn't know either, and then you didn't tell him." He plants a kiss to the side of my head. "He's going to be hurt that you didn't feel like you could open up to him too."

"I know," I huff and lean my head against his chest. "And I know that it's my fault, I understand that, because I should have told him. But what if when I tell him the whole truth he still doesn't forgive me?"

"Then that's his loss," Konan says.

I turn my head to look at him from in Roman's chest and he gives me a small smile. "If you tell him the whole truth, wolf and all and he doesn't forgive you, that's his fault. This was a big thing that you would have to completely open yourself up to. This is your life that you're talking about and you needed to know that you could trust him. If he has a problem with that, then he can come talk to me."

"Or me," Roman adds.

"I love you guys," I whisper.

"Love you," Roman says.

"Love you baby sis," Konan responds.

I sigh softly and run my good hand over my face for a second, brushing some stray hair back. "Um, how are Cato and the others? Are they okay? I never got a link from them."

"They're fine," Konan mumbles. "He messaged me and Ro what was happening a few minutes before the chaos happened. We were at grandma and grandpa's and were on our way here to try and find you guys to let ya'll know."

I huff a little bit and sort of pout. I'm not surprised that Cato messaged my brothers and not me this time since they knew they were on the premises. I'm sure Cato also figured I knew better to go down to the bunker this time, and he was correct. Though that didn't stop them from finding me, like they always do.

Our time is cut short when I can hear frantic footsteps coming down the hall. It didn't take a genius to guess that it was my lovely mate.

And I was proven right when I see him running by the windows and then come in through the door a few seconds later.

"Danielle!" Brody gasps out. He rushes over to me and pulls a chair up to be right in front. Roman moved me out of his chest and moved a bit to the side so Brody could have his time. "I heard from my warriors that you were brought up here because you were hurt, what happened?"

Then his gaze zeros in on the marks on my neck, making him snarl and gently reach a hand out towards it. He lightly grazes a hand over the mark, his glare tense and angry filled.

His gaze then snaps up to mine, making me flinch slightly. "Danielle, what happened?"

"Some men got down in the chambers," I inform him. I notice he tried not to flinch when he heard the croak in my voice, but he obviously did since he wasn't expecting it.
