I can't help but smile as I glance around the updates to the training arena. It mostly looks the same, yeah, but there looked to be just newer equipment. So I noticed the new punching bags that lined the outsides of the walls. New boxing gloves, new padding for the opposing people. Some new one on one equipment. Then back by the gym/fitness area, I could see some people setting up new machines to train on.

I liked how serious these guys were. Not just about training in general, but I like how much they listened as a pack. Sure they messed around once they were done doing certain things, but I watched the end of a training session with Brody before we went down to survey a little bit.

They snapped right back to watching their leader's attention as soon as everyone was done with the exercise. Ready to pay attention for the next drill.

At the moment I was watching a group of younger looking warriors. Maybe some that were just named or something like that. The instructor, or warrior leading the segment was demonstrating how to give proper punches to a punching bag, the other younger adults watching on.

After he was done demonstrating, he stepped away and said it was their turn to have a go. They went to their respective bags and started punching with their gloves.

My eyes went around past all of them, and I'll admit I felt a bit of pride course through me when I saw that almost half of the members in the group were females. I know it's not as common to have girls as warriors, but it's nice to know that the ladies in this pack didn't listen to stereotypes like that.

This one girl caught my eye though. She was standing next to a girl on her left, a boy on her right, and I'll admit she was struggling a little bit. She wasn't putting a lot of force into her hits and her stance wasn't exactly proper.

But her training leader was on the other end of the group so he couldn't see her.

"Danielle."

I quickly blink and snap over to meet Brody's gaze, a small smile on his face.

"Hey, we're gonna head down there. I have to talk to some of my men about some things that I've noticed. You wanna come?"

"Yeah, actually, I'd love to."

Brody smiles warmly at me and reaches his hand out, to which I quickly take. I know some members of the pack still aren't the happiest of me being here, just because I haven't had time to be inducted. They think it's not practical that I be here for this long and not be crowned Luna.

We've just had a lot going on and we've never really had time to do it. That and I'm a little freaked. Luna is a big job, and I don't want to be one to screw it up.

Brody and I head down the stairs with a few warriors that he was talking to. And I felt bad for not listening, but my mind was elsewhere. I couldn't help but watch that one girl I was looking at up by the railing.

For some reason I felt a need to help her. Like I wanted to go over there and help her with whatever she needed.

As soon as we get to the bottom of the stairs, I lightly put a hand on Brody's arm and pat it, making him look down at me. "I'm gonna head over there," I nod my head back. "See if I can help some of your fine pupils out."

Brody doesn't say anything at first. He gives me a little smile and leans down to give me a quick kiss. "That's my girl."

I can't help the bright smile on my face as I give his cheek a quick kiss before turning and walking over towards the younger group of warriors that were training.

Now I say younger group meaning like their early or mid twenties. And I can tell some of them have had previous experience. In fact, I think the boy and girl next to each other on the far right were having a competition to see who could throw more pristine punches in a minute.

They were good.

I think the person training them knew that and put them on the right, and gradually made it the way down for ones who need work. Which isn't a problem at all. Everybody has to start somewhere.

I walk past the wolves there, analyzing them a little bit on some of their techniques and stances. Now, I probably can't teach these kids all that much. I'm not a superstar or a martial arts expert or anything like that. But I know the basics and other stuff about fighting thanks to my brothers.

I make a mental note of some things to critique with some kids as I walk by them. And I am a little pleased when one of the trainers there goes and fixes something that I noted.

"Luna."

I turn to my left a little to see a warrior bowing, one that I know of as Nikoli.

"Nik," I grumble.

Nikoli raises his head and smiles at me. "Sorry, Luna but I cannot abide by your wishes. You will always be my Luna. It is a pleasure to see you, but I have some students to get back to."

"You too," I smile at him and give a small wave as he goes towards Brody.

I huff a little bit and turn back to the warriors, realizing that I had stopped in front of the girl that I had been watching before. She had an okay form and she wasn't totally lost. But she needed a lot of tune ups. She wasn't like a hopeless girl that just threw her hand at the bag like a wuss. But, she needed some help.
