Saying goodbye to my brothers wasn't at all better when we got to the airport. While Brody was changing forms and putting clothes on, I gave Konan and Roman a few hugs and pats on their heads. I waved goodbye to the rest of the men from the pack that tagged along to protect us, I say us but it was obviously my brothers, and gave my brothers one last goodbye before leaving with Brody.

Then the two of us sat on Brody's parent's friend's jet, which was kind of a mouthful, on the way home. I said it was too much and we could just go commercial, but Brody isn't one for listening to me.

After that, he gave me a lift back to his pack. It was a decently long hour's run. I guess it just felt longer as more and more time went on. I just couldn't help but be upset with everything and the more I thought of it while riding with Brody, the longer the ride felt.

As soon as we got back to Brody's place, I dropped my things off and went with him to talk to the pack. Or at least a meeting with his higher ranked members. I wanted to be there to show my respect, and just be there since eventually this will be my pack.

So I need to be there with them through thick and thin.

As the two of us enter the pack house, there is a chorus of Alpha and Luna welcome back being heard all around. Brody does his best to smile and give a nod to everyone he can, but I just sort of nod in the general vicinity. It just makes me uncomfortable to be called their Luna when I haven't been inducted into the pack yet.

I know that Brody could feel my uneasiness, and it was only further proven when he gripped my hand tightly in his own. I can't help but smile and look over at him, seeing that he was giving me a small smile back.

I have a lot on my mind, a lot to think and worry about. But there's no doubt that I'll always have Brody to back me up and be there for me. No doubt about that at all.

The two of us walk to his office, where I see Andrew sitting in one of the chairs waiting for him. He turns around, quickly standing up and bowing his head before he comes back up. "Alpha, Luna, it's a relief to see you made the trip back safely."

"Andrew," Brody grumbles as he starts walking to his desk. "At ease, man. I already told you, you don't have to act like this all the time."

"I disagree sir," Andrew mutters. As Brody gets over to his desk and starts looking through some paperwork on his desk, Andrew then turns to me. I had let go of Brody's hand and walked next to Andrew.

He turned and gave me a smile, bowing a little, "Luna, it's a pleasure to see you."

I roll my eyes and wait until he comes back up before I give him a quick hug. "It's good to see you too Andrew."

Andrew hesitantly puts his arms around me but does the same thing, me giving him a quick pat before I let go. I could tell that Brody saw the interaction, considering that I felt anger from him. Which ultimately made me let go, and then turn to glare at him.

He gave me an innocent look back, but I will be mentioning that with him later. I didn't need a jealous mate on my hands. Not with the list of problems that I already have to deal with. No sir.

"Andrew," Brody grumbles as he holds up one of the folders on his desk. "Give me a quick rundown of everything that happened for the few days that we were gone."

"The new equipment is all up and ready in the training area. There were a few rogue wolves that crossed the border but it was barely anything, just a few strays that didn't know the territory. The Adley and Eaton's houses are almost complete. We've made a lot of progress on the East Wall. And there were a few fights while you were gone."

"Fights?" Brody raises an eyebrow.

Andrew nods softly and begins his explanation. "Matthew and Travis had a disagreement about something, I don't even have the full story. They were fighting in front of the day care and almost hurt some kids. So I put them down in the dungeons awaiting your arrival. And the other fight was between Kenny and Oliver. Jealous mate business. I sent both of them to clean the gym as punishment and said that they would await more from you."

Brody nodded, just listening to him. I can tell he's thinking as his eyes scan over some of the papers in his hands.

I don't know the full extent of the pressures of being an Alpha. I know there's a lot that it comes down to, with my little knowledge of being the alpha's daughter. But I know that he's got to make a lot of big and small decisions for the pack. As well as little things here and there that just pop up.

With taking on meetings, ordering new equipment, building all of that, dealing with other wolves and how to help them, his own family and training and other things. I know that he has a lot to take on, and I appreciate everything that he does.

"Alright," Brody grumbles. "Let's go talk to everyone." He glances back up at Andrew and smiles. "Great work Andrew. I have no doubt that you did an excellent job while I was gone. I knew I could count on you."

Andrew smiles softly and tilts his head down slightly. "Thank you sir."

"Shall we?" Brody asks.

The two of us nod and we follow along with him to go towards the conference rooms. Andrew follows behind us as Brody comes up next to me, gripping my hand even with the short distance to the room.

I roll my eyes a little bit but give him a smile as we walk there.

We walk hand in hand to a conference room, one that was even bigger than the last one that I was in. And that was to be expected when I saw that there were even more wolves in the room. There were about twenty five or so men and women in the room, and I easily spotted Chris and Nick at the front of it.

Yet again, the two of us heard a chorus of Alpha and Luna welcome back with some bowing. I just gave them polite smiles as I walked to the front of the room with Brody.

Andrew sat down across from Chris, and I moved to sit next to Andrew. Both Chris and Nick give me a smile once they see that I was there, then both of them lean towards me.

"Welcome back Luna," Chris whispers.

"Welcome back," Nick mutters.

"Thank you," I smile.

They give a small nod before they lean back and turn their attention back to Brody. I give a once over around the room to see some warriors that I've met and been guarded by. As well as a couple people from the last meeting.
