I groan as I flop down onto Brody's coach in his study. It's a little after six and he was still in a meeting, but I don't mind waiting for him right now. I had a sort of long day while I was working with the trainees.

We went outside and did live training in the snow. Since, if they had fights outside, which there has been a lot of lately, they'll be prepared. And with our track record, there's going to be plenty of fights eventually.

They not only need all the training they can get, but they need real live training too. So putting them against each other, and especially us, help them with real life combat. We're going to start real live scenarios too.

So we'll send them out onto the border, with a little bit more patrol just in case, and we'll pretend that the instructors are rogue wolves coming in for a fight. I'll be on the sidelines, obviously, since I can't show my true self.

I'm a little excited for that, considering that I can see how they do in the field. Then critique them on it later. But I'm a little curious as to how I'll be able to watch it live. Maybe hide around the area that they're going to be in. I might have to hide my scent or something like that so they can't sense me.

It wasn't long of me sitting there when I got a call from my older brother. I hadn't talked to them in so long, the thought of talking to any of them brought a smile on my face.

I couldn't contain the smile as I brought my phone up to my ear. "Konan! Hi big bro! How are you?"

"Hey baby sister," Konan says happily. I can tell that he's smiling, it didn't take a genius to realize that. "Everything's fine, me, Athena and the kids are doing fine. They miss their favorite aunt."

"Konan," I huff a little bit and roll my eyes. I know they have Karyn and Zoey, who are there and present with them all the time. So I don't want to say that I am their favorite, even though I figure I am.

"Yeah, yeah," Konan mutters softly. "I'm just saying. Anyway, how's my baby sister doing? Brody treating you well I hope?"

"Yes," I smile softly, "he's treating me just fine, Konan. He always does. But I sort of got a job I guess?"

"What do you mean you sort of got a job? Either you did or you didn't. And why did you get a job anyway? You're going to be Luna soon, don't you need to get used to the pack and what you're supposed to do there?"

"Well, yeah, but I have a job in the pack. I started helping out training some of the newcomers."

There was silence on the other end for a few seconds, and I was a little confused. I knew he was thinking about something I had said, but I didn't know what. Then it hit me afterwards, he was thinking about the fact of who I was. About me being a white wolf.

"Wait-"

"How in the hell do you help train them?" Konan questions.

"I should have explained it better," I grumble as I lay my head back on the couch. "I help out in my human form for training. I never shift or anything like that."

A big sigh of relief is heard through the other end, and I can't help but let out a small giggle. That's what I get for scaring the crap out of him I guess.

"Dammit Dani! Don't scare me like that!"

"Sorry, I just forgot to mention that part. But yeah, I help them out with training, and I'm actually doing a great job. At least that's what Brody and the others tell me. It's actually pretty fun, and I like helping them out."

Konan snorts for a second. "Wait a minute, how old are these people? Don't tell me that my small, baby sister is out here kicking the ass of people older than her."
