"Yeah!" I smile happily. "That was really good, Jaz. Really good technique."

"Thanks Luna," Jaz smiles back. "Is there anything that you recommend I fix? I'll take any criticism you have for me."

Jazmine is one of my newer students since she just turned sixteen and decided what she wanted to do. I've been training with her for a few weeks now and started a bit before we had dinner with Brody's family.

That's still a touchy subject. I haven't really hung out with Madeline since then. I had lunch with her and Titus once, though Titus and I mostly talked shop the entire time. I don't know what she's thinking about what happened, and that's what makes me a little nervous.

She could think Brody was out of line for saying that to her father and could agree with her dad. Or she could possibly agree with Brody and didn't want to dare speak up against her father. But I didn't want to ask about it since it was still a touchy subject with Brody.

I've seen Lucina a few times since in the hallways, and thankfully Evander wasn't with her. I really didn't want to face him after what's happened. Not like I wanted to face him in the first place.

Point is, we haven't really talked about what happened. And I am perfectly okay with it.

"No, you've been doing really well. A lot better than the last few weeks. Only thing is, you tend to underestimate your smaller opponents. I get that you think size matters and sometimes it does. But don't let that get to your head. I've managed to take down some of my older brothers and I'm smaller than them."

Jaz nods thoughtfully, her black hair swaying gently in her ponytail. "Okay, never underestimate my opponent. Got it. Anything else for me?"

"Just keep working on your dodging. The ones with left hooks need work."

"Yeah I'm not used to them yet," she ponders for a moment. She then gets all peppy and practically beams at me. "I'll practice it more." Her head slightly bows, "Thank you very much for your assistance Luna. I appreciate it greatly."

"No problem," I wave off. Mainly for the fact that she called me Luna. Even though she knows, as does everyone else, that I hate it. I'm just trying to get used to it at this point since I know they won't stop.

Jaz gives me another smile before she turns and bounces out of the ring. She ran over to her best friend, Becca, and starts asking her how she did.

I had been working here maybe three weeks or so now? I've gotten to know a few students really well, Jaz included. She hates being called Jasmine, hence me calling her Jaz. Everyone here is really nice and helpful, I just love working with them.

Especially when I work with Beckett, Titus or Calvin. Maxi is fun to work with too actually. They're really serious when it comes to work, but they're fun to get along with. I'm not used to this at my pack, father never really let me talk to anyone else aside from my family and then Brandon, Justin and Harrison.

Sure I knew most of the people that were looking over me and stuff, but I never had a bond like this with anyone in the pack other than my brothers.

"Danielle!"

I turn to my right to see that Calvin was waving a hand at me. "Are you okay with going outside and doing tactic training in the snow? It might be a little cold."

I scoff and put my hands on my hips. I'm a little offended that he said that. I know that it's 'supposed' to be cold for me since they think I'm a human. But I lived up in Vermont, where it got even colder than here.

"As if," I retort. "It's not that cold out. It was colder up in Vermont. We can go out there as soon as you're done with Zander."

Calvin chuckles a little bit and nods. "Yes ma'am."

He turns back around and gives Zander instructions on how they're going to train, leaving me leaning against the outer lines of the small ring that we have set up in the gym.
