It was a good thing we had a two hour car drive. It gave me some time to touch up my makeup that Brody so nicely ruined for me. But no regrets, I was okay with it.

So I did that on the last length of the car drive there. We made some small talk about the pack on the way there, until we pulled up to the freakin mansion. And when I say mansion, I mean literal mansion. This place was fucking huge.

I can't even describe it, it's like one of those houses you'd seen in a movie, like the rich people's place. Stunning long glass windows, looking like it was two or three stories tall. Just a giant house, a few five or ten acres of just the house at least. I had no words.

"Wow," I whisper as we pull in behind Rosie and Andrew in the line. It was valet parking. "This is uh, this is a big place."

"Yeah," Brody grumbles. "I always wanted to see what it was all about. But I never went since I didn't have you with me."

I was always wondering about that. I guess now was the perfect time to ask him.

"Brody?" I whisper. He hums a little bit, indicating that he was listening to me as he drove up behind Andrew. "Um, why didn't you come before you met me? Surely there will be other alphas that are just here with their betas who haven't found their mates yet. So, why haven't you done that?"

"Well," Brody huffs a little bit. He sends me a warm smile, making me feel warm inside. "I didn't want to experience this without you."

And there it goes. Stupid Brody Castellano.

I can't help but smile warmly at him, me squeezing his hand a little bit. Always the smooth talker this one.

Brody notices that I squeezed his hand and glances back at me, smiling as well. He lifts my hand up to his mouth, where he plants a soft kiss to it. Oh god, yep, he's trying to make me blush.

He doesn't let go of my hand until he parks the car, so that we could get out. He sends me a quick smile as he gets out of the car, rushing over in front of it to go over to my side. I know not to open the car door, for fear that he would yell at me if I did.

Always him trying to be a gentleman.

He opens the door for me, where I carefully step out of the car. "M'lady," he holds his arm out to me after successfully closing the door.

"Why thank you," I smile up at him warmly. He smiles and gently runs a hand over my cheek, making me lean into his touch.

I've never experienced love like this before. And I am so, so very happy that I get to experience this with Brody. Because he treats me just like a princess. No scratch that. I am a princess and he doesn't treat me like one.

No, he treats me like HIS princess.

Brody leans down and gives me a quick kiss before he turns and hands his keys to the valet guy. Brody then grips my hand tightly, with me leaning and holding onto his arm as we make our way up the big set of stairs leading into the house.

Andrew and Rosie waited for us and were walking right behind us. I felt bad that I barely said hi to her before we went up the stairs, but I was so in awe and glancing around every which way.

"Wow," I finally utter out as we walk through the main set of doors. Which I will admit had two ushers standing there to open and close the door. They were standing inside, so I'm sure their werewolf hearing helped them figure out when they needed to open it. Because as I figured out, they were both werewolves.

The inside was just as gorgeous as the outside. The marble floors, very high ceiling, chandeliers in the rooms, bright white walls and white pillars. This place was like a movie. Sure we have places like this back home considering we're royalty, but like, this just seems like a whole different type of amazing.

"It's beautiful," I whisper in awe.

"Not as beautiful as you, my darling," Brody whispers softly.

I glance up at him and see that he was giving me a smile, which sent chills down my spine yet again. I almost forgot how to breathe. I might die.

Cause of death, Brody Castellano's smile.
