Another fifteen minutes had gone by and I was anxiously pacing back and forth now. I understand that they wanted some time alone with their child and all that. But I wanted to meet my nephew.

As I pace back in the direction of the room, we all hear movement as the door opens. We look up and see our older brother coming out of the room. He had a look of disbelief and shock over his face, no doubt since I probably had the same look.

As soon as he spots me, he starts the trek over, not saying anything. I stopped in my tracks and frantically start asking questions, "Konan? Is the baby okay? What happened? I-" He cuts me off by pulling me into a giant hug.

I had to bite back a gasp of surprise as he wraps his arms around me, where he then shoves my face into his shoulder. I barely managed to wrap my arms around him, mostly due to the shock of him doing it with so much force and emotion.

"I don't know what you did," he whispers and I can't help but notice he's shaking, "but thank you. Oh god, thank you so much. You saved his life." He pulls away and cups the side of my head with his hands. I can see tears rolling down his cheeks as he puts his lips on my forehead, then puts his forehead on my own, "Thank you, baby sister. You saved my boy, you saved him."

"I didn't do anything, Konan," I try to shrug it off but he shakes his head. "No, Lelan told us what happened. He said that he was dead, he was gone, but you did something, you brought him back."

I'll admit that it was a little cool for what I did. But I didn't need all the attention and whatnot on me. Not only did I not need it, but I didn't want it. I wanted all the attention focused on Athena and the baby. She's the one who pushed him out, and the baby was alive. That's all I cared about.

I shrug and smile to push it aside, "It was nothing, it just wasn't his time yet. How is he? And Athena?" I ask again to hopefully get the topic off of me.

"They're both just fine," Konan sniffles and hugs me tightly again, "I love you, baby sister. Thank you."

I truly felt that he meant it, and I knew that he did before all of this. But I didn't need the extra love. Not for me.

"I love you too big brother," I whisper and hug him back. "Can we see them?" I pull away a little to look up at him.

"Of course," he sniffles again and nods as he pulls me in, as I gesture the others with. 'I'll be right back,' I mouth to Brody who just smiles at me.

I didn't want to overwhelm Athena with Brody, since she didn't really know him yet. But I figured she'd be alright with it after a little while.

We get inside and see Dr. Lelan talking with another doctor, Dr. Calem, in the corner of the room, but we're too transfixed on the baby to even care what they're saying. He was lying in Athena's arms, tucked nicely in a blanket all swaddled up and cozy.

"Oh, he's beautiful," Roman smiles as he goes to the other side of Athena with Theo.

"Oh yeah, one tough little guy for sure," Theo smiles down at the baby.

"Danielle, thank you," she sniffles and pulls me down for a hug.

I almost fall from the abrupt movement and stutter my steps. But I get pulled down to her chest anyway. I smile softly and wrap my arms around her, tucking my head by her, dirty blonde hair in her shoulder, taking it in that she was happy. I made sure not to go down towards the baby, since I didn't want to squish him.

Her baby was alive, she was happy, and I couldn't be happier for that reason. I don't like it when she's upset.

"It was nothing," I whisper and pull away while smiling, "that's what family is for, right?"

I can tell she wants nothing more than to start crying again. She blinks back the tears that she feels and lets out a small sniffle. She then perks up a little and holds her arms out to me, "Here."
