We still couldn't find Ricky's cat, and it's been twenty four hours since we got home. I knew nothing good would come of all of this, and I was worried for Ricky's safety. After we explained everything to the cops, they seemed just as worried and suggested he stay with family.

Ricky doesn't have an family in Scranton, and even if he did, I wouldn't trust them. For the safety of the baby and Shiloh, I couldn't leave him with Devin. I wasn't going to burden Balz or Ryan with this either. I knew exactly where to take him. I called up Kuza, and after New Years, he felt like he owed me anyways.

When Mike found out exactly what kind of person Jani was, he was very regretful he made out with him. I was confident Ricky was left in safe hands. As I was coming back from dropping him off at Mike's, I felt my heart drop in my stomach to see an ambulance and police cars outside of our apartment building. I quickly pushed past the cops, running as fast as I could to our floor.

It couldn't have been anyone else in the apartment complex, no! The cops were in Devin's apartment. I tried to walk in, but I was stopped by a police officer.

"What the Hell is going on?" I spat.

"Sir, please calm down." The officer responded.

"Calm down? My apartment was trashed, my boyfriend's cat was cat-napped, and now the police are in my best friend's apartment. Someone tell me what the Hell is going on?!"

"Sir-"

"Chris," I heard Devin choke on his words. The baby was in his arms, but I didn't see Shiloh. He walked over from where he stood with a police officer. "Let him in, please."

The cop let up and let me step inside. Looking around, it was much messier than they usually keep it. I realized a few things were broken or on the floor that previously weren't.

"What's going on?" I asked, almost desperate for an answer at this point.

Devin softly kissed Bella's head as he tried to blink away tears. "I wish I knew. I went out for a bit, I had a business lunch with someone. The cops were already here when I got back. One of the neighbors reported hearing screaming and the baby crying. Shiloh is missing and he left his phone here. I have no idea where he is or what the fuck happened."

"He would have never left the baby alone either." I responded.

"Mr. Sola, we have to have the paramedic look over your baby. It's routine in these situations." An officer said.

"Yes, but I'm not leaving her side." Devin said. "I'll walk her down to the ambulance."

"I'll walk with you." I stated.

One of the officer's lead us out of the apartment. I was just as worried as Devin, and even more thankful that I moved Ricky away from our apartment building. We walked downstairs to where the ambulance was sitting out front.

Devin sat down in the back of the ambulance with Bella in his laugh. A paramedic started to examine her.

"I know it was him." Dev muttered.

"I'd like to have hope otherwise, but it's hard." I replied.

"When I ran into Jani and December at Warped, Jani told me, him and his brother were going to screw Ricky and Shiloh. It's my fault, I took it as an empty threat."

"It's not your fault. It's nobody's fault, other than Jani." I'm going to kill that fucker when I find him.
