| Chris' POV |

In the midst of Ghost and I having a hushed conversation, Shiloh suddenly rushed in my apartment. On first instinct, I stood up. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"Jani is really really pissed. He already beat Ricky really bad and I'm afraid he's going to do it even worse. Please go over there and help him." He begged.

Devin stood up and handed Bella over to Shiloh. "Watch her. Also Mike is passed out in the bathroom, but he shouldn't bother you. We'll be right back, Baby."

Shiloh nodded. Devin and I ran across the hall without hesitation. The door had been left open and we used it to our advantage. I heard Ricky crying, and found him under Jani, both of them on the kitchen floor. I quickly ripped Jani straight off of Ricky.

"I've been wanting to do this for a long time." I said as I decked him.

"What the fuck?" He spat.

Jani started to go after me, but Devin intervened. He grabbed Jani's arm, twisting it under. Then Dev pinned him against the wall, as I leaned down to help Ricky. Blood was dripping down his face and covering his frail body!

"Oh, my God." I muttered. "Are you okay?"

"My head hurts." He grumbled. "My ears won't stop ringing. Chris, I-I... I think I'm gonna... p-pass o-ou-out."

Ricky began to nod in and out of consciousness. Devin glanced down from where he was restraining Jani. He saw the amount of blood everywhere, and the fact that, despite my best efforts, I couldn't keep Ricky awake. The door was still open, so he shouted across the hall for Shiloh.

Shi came running in, and Devin told him, "Call 911. Then go back to our apartment. Put the baby to bed, and bring me the handcuffs in the nightstand."

Shiloh nodded and began pulling out his phone as he jogged back to their apartment. A few moments later, he returned, still on the phone with the 911 operator as he handed a pair of silver handcuffs over to Devin. I shouldn't even be surprised that Dev owns a pair of handcuffs. I should be grateful though, because he used the to chain Jani up to the radiator.

Jani kept trying to break himself free. He was shouting and cursing at us, but I could care less what the fuck he has to say! I was more worried about Ricky now. He did pass out, in my arms too. I held on to him tight as I heard heavy steps outside the hall. Before I knew it, a paramedic was pulling me off of Ricky so he could tend to him.

They quickly carried him out on a stretcher when they realized they couldn't get him to wake up.

"Chris, go with them. I'll take care of everything here." Devin said.

"Thanks." I sighed. "Update me on what the cops do with Jani. I'll get ahold of the guys. Oh, and, watch Kuza. He'll probably wake up to puke again soon."

"Okay." He lightly chuckled.
