Going to do another big skip ahead!

| Ricky's POV |

The Christmas tree stood shining in the corner of Jani and I's apartment. After a successful spring tour, along with doing Warped all summer, and a short UK tour over the fall, we were finally back home for the holidays. I went to Jani's parents' place for Thanksgiving. We spent a week of December in Seattle with my family, but I wanted to be home for actually Christmas.

After our fight, Jani and I made up and we've been doing well since. Chris and I haven't addressed the tension slowly growing between us. I'm just acting like it's not there, as long as he does the same. He moved in to the apartment across the hall. Shiloh and Ghost are now living a few doors down from Chris.

Speaking of Ghost, we cleared everything up and we're back to being good friends. After all was said and done, Kylie had the baby and gave it over to him. She delivered about a month ago.

Things felt... normal. As normal as they could get.

I sat on the window seal, enjoying the snowfall as I drank some hot coffee and scrolled through my Instagram feed. It shocked me to see Ghost had posted a picture of the baby. I didn't think he'd tell the fans, about the baby or Shiloh! The picture was of Shiloh sitting in front of their tree, playing with Bella. She looked just like Ghost, even at such a young age.

On the caption, Ghost wrote, "Merry Christmas from our family to yours! The best Christmas gift I got was this little munchkin and to be home with my beautiful boyfriend!"

Everyone asked who the kid was. They'll figure it out eventually. Of course, there was questions about Kylie and all, but most the fans were nice enough not to ask. I kept scrolling to see Balz and Ryan-Ashley were spending the holiday with their fur-babies. Ryan and Allie decided to escape the snow and take a trip to Florida for the week. Everyone seemed happy.

Well, I didn't know how Chris was. He hadn't been online at all, and he hadn't texted me. I decided to send him a Merry Christmas text in hopes that I'd get a response to at least know he's alive!

As I sat in the window, with the cat curled up at my feet, Jani approached me. I set my phone down after sending the text, then allowed him to kiss me before even speaking a word.

"So, I hope you got me what I wanted for Christmas." He said.

"Are what was that?" I asked.

"You. In nothing but that cute skeleton key necklace." Jani smirked.

"I'll work on that." I snickered, stealing another kiss.
