8: A normal life?

Fixing her bag straps, Saya stepped into the hall pretending to be one of the students and went straight to the back where no one would notice her. The college was huge after all it was built by Kimeron Family and though she was sure most students didn't know each other and it was almost impossible to detect someone posing as a student, it wouldn't harm to be a bit more careful.

She adorned herself in a lavender-hued cardigan paired with a coordinating plaid skirt, skillfully fastening her hair into a ponytail, mimicking the nerdy characters she often admired on television series.  However, she had failed to realize the series was far from reality and the moment she walked in all eyes were on her.

As the class settled down, a boy took his seat beside her, and when she turned to take a glimpse of him and her heart squealed over his good looks. Without a doubt, the guy was years younger than her but honestly, he was a treat for her eyes and she stemmed herself from drooling all over him.

"I never saw you around" he casually struck up a conversation ensuing a panic mode in Saya

"Trust me, I have always been around" She masked her nervousness, pretending to be chilled by leaning on the desk with her palm supporting her chin.

"And trust me I would have noticed if you were" He chuckled with certainty.

"I guess you didn't look properly then" A smug smile crept on her lips. She mentally scolded herself reminding herself the boy was just a kid and she should subdue her flirting instinct.

"I am Choi Yeonjun" He moved his hand forward and Saya shook it gazing directly into his eyes.

It was evident that he wasn't expecting her to be confident, after all, he was used to girls fawning over him not the other way around. The only problem was the boy had no idea he was dealing with a certified vixen who had powerful men of his country worshipping her.

"Di...Saya Cloudreed" she blurted out.

"Nice to meet you The Saya Cloudreed," he said in an amused manner causing Saya to give him a sheepish smile

As the professor commenced the lecture in the background, all students had their attention on the back where the most popular guy in their college was hitting on an extremely gorgeous yet unfamiliar girl. The entire class was left in wonder gossiping about how could they miss a beauty that could seamlessly be the most beautiful girl in their college beating the reigning beauty with ease.

After the classes were over, Yeonjun invited Saya to hang out with his cool friends inside the college premise to relax and get to know more about each other to which she happily accepted.

With a small bonfire, they gathered near a department building that was recently constructed but not yet opened for students. Some were laying in the grass whereas some were in wooden chairs that could be found all over the campus.
