After their emotionally charged conversation, Taehyung guided Saya to the comfort of their living room. He wanted to make up to her for losing his cool and subjecting her to emotional distress.  Seated together, he issued a gentle directive to one of the maids, requesting a serving of ice cream for them both. He knew Saya found solace in the simple pleasure of indulging in this sweet treat.

As the maid returned with the creamy dessert, Taehyung settled beside his wife, a tender smile adorning his features. With a loving gesture, he offered her a spoonful of the icy delight, a silent testimony of his unwavering affection.

"I'm not a child, Tae. I can manage on my own," Saya protested lightly, attempting to reclaim control of the spoon.

"UH-AH," he playfully interjected, denying her request with a shake of his head. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he scooped up another spoonful and brought it to her lips, his actions brooding from his desire to pamper and care for her.

Saya offered a tentative smile and parted her lips, letting Taehyung feed her. Despite her efforts to appear composed, her anxiety mounted with each passing moment. Any second now, the news would be delivered and if Taehyung continued to watch her closely, her carefully laid escape plan would be impossible to execute.

She pondered whether she had gone too far. Perhaps she should have just said what he wanted to hear and walked away. However, Taehyung's accusation hit a nerve and she ended up blurting out her emotions for Jungkook. It was only when she saw the dejection in Taehyung's expression that she quickly shifted the conversation to self-blame, hoping to manipulate his emotions with guilt.

The phony tranquility soon shattered when one of Taehyung's trusted men approached, his steps cautious, his expression grave. He leaned in, his voice barely a whisper as he delivered news that sent a chill down Taehyung's spine

Taehyung's demeanor shifted instantly, his features contorting into a mask of concern and anger. Saya, sensing the change in atmosphere, looked up at him with furrowed brows, her voice soft with worry. "Taehyung, is everything alright?".

For a moment, Taehyung said nothing, his mind racing with the weight of the information he had just received. But then, with a forced smile, he reached out to touch her cheek gently, his touch a fleeting reassurance. "Everything is fine, my love. Just a minor issue that needs my attention. Nothing for you to worry about."

Saya's heart sank as she swallowed hard, a familiar sense of dread creeping over her. She knew all too well the gravity of the news whispered into Taehyung's ear. An unsettling knot tightened in her chest, a silent prayer escaping her lips, hoping that Veronica had safely escorted Seol to Jungkook.

Taehyung rose from his seat, his movements tense and controlled, as he directed his gaze towards her bodyguard. Hoseok emerged from the shadows, prompting her to ponder how skillfully he concealed his presence, leaving her unaware of his proximity until now.

"Take care of her," he instructed, his voice clipped with authority earning a nod from Hoseok.

With a final glance at his wife, Taehyung left the room, his steps heavy with unresolved anger. Saya watched him go, her heart heavy with concern, praying silently for everything to go well.

But before she could even attempt to calm her racing thoughts, the sudden eruption of Taehyung's voice echoed through the mansion, commanding his men with urgency and intensity that nearly gave her a heart attack.

"Find him immediately!" his voice boomed, reverberating through the halls starling her to her core.

Saya's nerves were wound tight as she anxiously waited, her facade of concern masking her true intentions. With each passing moment, the weight of uncertainty pressed down upon her, urging her to seize the opportunity presented by Taehyung's distraction. She had one hour to use the hidden door and escape, one hour to run to where Jungkook would be waiting for her.
