Saya stared at the sleeping figure of her husband, the morning light delicately grazing his face. In his peaceful state, he appeared so innocent and kind almost like a child.

Taehyung carried himself with a sense of ease, fooling people into thinking they were safe around him. Always articulate and well-mannered and though he rarely smiled, his warm, deep brown eyes exuded kindness, offering solace to troubled souls and a sense of understanding. His presence had the ability to wrap people around into false security. His charisma could effortlessly entrap a naive individual into his masterful mind games, transforming them into his pawn without them ever being aware of it. Yet, despite his composed exterior, he was walking, breathing chaos within, much like the eerie calm preceding a storm.
Chaos was all that she could use to describe the guy lying beside her. A mess in all senses.
As her eyes traced his delicate features, it made her realize how contrasting the three brothers were with one another.
Jimin for her once was the embodiment of honesty itself. His touch was like a pledge of sincerity and his voice possessed a magnetic quality that drew you in enough to entrust your life to him. His gaze always held a mischievous glint with the air of carefree exuding him. His true motives were always hidden beneath his angelic smile. His ambitions were always covered with the cloak of his innocence and compassionate gaze. The resentment was brooding inside of him, never once spilled out in the open because, despite his gullible appearance, he was far from careless, always meticulous even in the delivery of his lies.
And then there was Jungkook. While his siblings concealed their flaws by masquerading as perfect individuals, he veiled his vulnerability with a facade of harshness. People feared him because of his intimidating demeanor and his choice of always adorning in black accentuated their negative perceptions of him. Yet, beneath his stern exterior, he remained a youthful soul, merely pretending to be grown-up. He perceived the world with the same honesty and directness as he held. However, this didn't make him someone to underestimate as his sword always worked faster than his thoughts or words.
The three brothers who ruined her life.
A liar, a manipulator and ...
she stopped wondering what word would correctly describe the man she was in love with.
Her hands instinctively lifted to sweep away the strands of hair obscuring Taehyung's face, and as he shifted his head, his eyes fluttered open catching her hand mid-air. She froze, resembling a thief caught in the act. It took him a moment to register what had happened, his cheeks flushing crimson with realization. Clearing his throat, he watched as Saya hastily withdrew her hands, turning away to conceal her embarrassment.
"I really don't mind you staring at me while I am asleep," He murmured, his tongue grazing over his lower lips trying to come up with an appropriate word.
"It was just unexpected."
When his wife didn't make any sound and just laid, curled away from him, facing the opposite direction, he chuckled, realizing she was likely embarrassed to have been caught staring at the man she claimed to despise.
