Gently, Saya applied moisturizer to her face while discreetly observing Taehyung from the corner of her eye. It had been a few days since Namjoon's visit, and ever since then, Seol had grown more curious about school. Seol even expressed a desire to attend every time they would spend their time together. Saya vehemently denied her wish, going as far as telling her it was forbidden. After all, forbidden fruit only entices more.

Clad in his comfortable pajamas, Taehyung slipped beneath the covers, his gaze fixed on his wife as she performed her nightly skincare routine. Silently, he observed her delicate movements, admiring the natural beauty of her bare skin, which glowed with a dewy radiance thanks to the creams she had carefully applied. Once she was done he finally mustered the words that had lingered on the tip of his tongue.

"I believe it's time we consider sending Nabi to school," he said causing Saya to halt, her furrowed brows nearly converging as if his suggestion was preposterous.

"All of a sudden?" She turned to him.

"She has been questioning why she's the only one not attending school while all the other kids are, and I confess, I lack a satisfactory reply," he explained, propping his head on his palm as he lay on his side.

"You are seriously not considering it are you?" She let out a suppressed laugh as if the idea of sending her daughter was far-fetched."It's not safe for her" her tone went serious.

"Why wouldn't it be safe? I will have my men keep an eye on her. Besides, she needs to socialize with kids her own age. Being cooped up in the mansion isn't healthy for a child's psychological development."

Internally, Saya was ecstatic. Taehyung had taken the bait, and now all she had to do was feign opposition. Negative reinforcement always proved effective with egotistical males.

"Tae, she'll be fine. I was homeschooled too, and I turned out just fine."

Taehyung couldn't help but titter at his wife's words and immediately covered his mouth realizing how offensive it might have sounded. He sheepishly smiled at her, while Saya shot him a glare sharp enough to pierce through steel.

"I'm definitely sending her to school now," he thought to himself and rose from his reclined position to settle onto the edge of the bed.

Saya stood up from her seat and strode over to the bed, looming over him. "Why did you just laugh?" she asked, her tone laced with curiosity. Taehyung hastily shook his head. "Nothing."

"Taehyung," her voice turned stern, signaling she had no intention of repeating herself.

"My love, I want you to know I mean no harm by this," Taehyung began gently, his voice calm as he tenderly rubbed her arms, ensuring her serenity before he spoke his honest thoughts.

"You're unbelievably naive, never once questioning the lies Jimin uttered. You were incredibly gullible and manipulable, wholeheartedly buying into the notion that I was infatuated with Jungkook for years, readily placing your trust in others. Frankly, your ability to navigate the real world is practically nonexistent."  Saya's eyebrows twitched in irritation as she listened to Taehyung's words drone on. With each word he uttered, her annoyance grew like a smoldering ember, threatening to burst into flames of frustration. Despite her urge to lash out at the man before her, a significant part of her acknowledged the truth in his words.

Feeling Saya's annoyance, Taehyung gently pulled her close, enveloping her in his embrace. "But none of it is your fault, Saya," he murmured softly. "Anyone who grew up in such an environment would likely fare far worse. Yet, you possess courage, resilience, and, above all, a kind heart."

"I don't care what you say, Taehyung," Saya declared, her voice edged with determination as she met his gaze head-on. "Nabi is going to be home-schooled. She's staying under my watchful eye, and you promised me that." She shrugged off his attempt at a hug, her body tensing with defiance.
