"What did you get into this time?!" He demanded. "How am I out? Where are we?"

I held up my hands as if it could calm him down, but sheepishly smiled. "I sorta went into a house of mirrors to see my relfection?"

He took a wide look around. "Does this look like a house of mirrors to you?!" He put his hands to his head. "Why do you keep following complete strangers into these weird places?"

I nervously locked my fingers together. I wasnt going to answer him, I know it would only tick him off more. He then stepped closer to me, I could feel a headache growing with every step.

"You walked in, right? So you should know the exit."

"Dont you usually know everything?"

"Idiot, I've never been to this place before! I disnt even know it existed, how should I know the exit?"

Suddenly, it felt like walls appeared on all sides of us. Nothing looked different, but putting my hands out I could feel the walls around us now.

"I dont think we can leave."

The area started becoming darker. Kiapo pushed his back against mine. "You better have not gotten us killed idiot!"

The area started growing darker. The white around us turned grey, yet space like. Suddenly, my reflection reappeared, yet it looked different. I have much longer, messy hair. Dressed in some of my old clothes instead of some I borrowed from others.

"Who are you?" Kiapo asked.

Another voice answered, "I'm who you've been locking away."

I quickly turned around to see who he was speaking to. He also had a reflection infront of him. Someone who was him, but also different. Hes not a kid anymore, but barely any taller.

Wait, if his reflection spoke to him-

"I can move!" I turned my attention back to my reflection. She was moving, in awe at her own movements. She lifted her head, a glow in her eyes as she brought her hands to her mouth. "I can speak!"

There was an echo as she exclaimed, but her voice wasnt clear. It sounds almost as if she spoke in a vase. She suddenly brough her hands to her ears, her happiness washed away with pain.

"Are you okay?" I called out.

"Its so loud in here!"

Kiapo suddenly pushed himself closer to me, as if we werent already touching backs, grabbing my attention away from my reflection. He shouted, "What is this?!"

When I looked back, he had a few more of himself in the mirror. All clearly him, but everyone looking different. Not a single one seemed happy.

"How do you have so many?" I asked in shock. I had to look back at my reflection to see if mine grew too, but it's still just the messy haired girl, covering her ears.

"I dont know!" He yelled, panicked in his voice. "I dont even know what's happening! Why did you even come in here?"

I hesitated. "He said something about seeing your other self. The you you never hear if you never listen."

"WHAT?!" He shrieked. I'm surprised he seems to know what that meant. Even standing here in the middle of it happening, I still find myself a little lost.

"You have to get me out of here."

I looked back at his reflections. They only seem to keep growing. Just how many does he have? But as I looked back to mine, it's still just the one. Though, shes on the ground now, still covering her head.
