I already finished the book and am once again bored. I would read my book, but I don't know where it is.

Because I am bored, I decided to walk around again.

It's been a lot harder to breathe since they decided a fire would be the best way to raid the house. I'm sure I shouldn't be walking around; it doesn't help that my nausea returned. However, I want something to do.

That, and I need food.

With the lack of everything, I am definitely losing weight I shouldn't be losing. I'm a small person. I can't be losing weight.

I eventually find a kitchen again. There's only one person in here, whose head is on the table. All I can see is really dark hair and their arms. One arm is just laying on the table, the other is holding an empty cup. His arms are covered in bandages.

Okay, severe bandaging, dark hair which I can't really tell whether it's black or brown- which major person who I may or may not be afraid of got severely hurt in the last few days? It's the guy with the girl's name who's really scary.

I take a few steps back.

"Hey," Avyanna says, not lifting his head. "C'mere."

I hesitate for a second before making my way towards him. He makes no movement to see who's here. Maybe I could run?

All he does is point to a cabinet. What would he do if I just walked out? Is he still weak from a few days ago? I think two days. Could he do anything?

I decide not to chance anything and walk to the cabinet, even without knowing what he wants.

I open it, having a little trouble with my height. Coincidently, and oddly, there is only one thing in here. A bottle of medicine. I look around to make sure nothing else is in there. Why is there only one small bottle here?

I grab the bottle and inspect it. It's labelless and feels halfway full. I could only assume it's painkillers. I walk back over to Avyanna and set it next to him. Before I could retreat, he sits up. He has his eyepatch back on. He sees me.

"Oh, it's you."

Unlike what I expected, he doesn't care I'm here. He opens the bottle and grabs a pill. He then places it on the table and downs the whole bottle, catching me by surprise.

"What did you do that for?" I demand.

"Why are you still here?"

"Because I just watched you take way more pills than you probably needed. You can die from that you know."

"I know," he says angrily. I take a step back. "Do you not think I know my limit? All I'll just overdose, pass out, and then wake up in a week or something hung over. Why do you even care?"

"I- uh..." I can't think of a reason.

"Why do you care?" He repeats, sounding more demanding.

"I just do," I stutter

He puts his head back on the table. I want to ask him something, but that's a bit hard since I'm a bit afraid of him. I take in a deep breath.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask.

"No."

That ended quickly. "Okay," I stutter.

"What is it?"

That caught me off guard. What does he want?

"What is it?" He demands.

I probably should've figured out how to word this before I asked if I could ask him. "Why did you- um. When you found me you were going to, uh... do something? Why?"
