Chapter 15: The past…

Caroline’s POV

                Tonight I got a text from Lucas, he said that he had a surprise for me! He invited me for lunch tomorrow, that’s when he will show me the surprise! I have been thinking about him a lot, and Wes seems to be crossing my mind rarely for today, and that makes me happier.

                Today I did some basic stuff, I couldn’t wait for tomorrow!

Wesley’s POV

                The plane took a long time, I just want to get there and hug her! I miss her so much.

                As soon as the plane landed me and Drew got our stuff and met Lucas at the airport exit. He was nice, he seemed liked a cool guy, but he said that tonight wouldn’t be good for trying to find someone in New York. He also mentioned having lunch with some chick he met, he said she was amazing, but he said to keep our eyes off. He has nothing to worry about; I only have eyes for Caroline.

                As we drove to his penthouse I look at the city, it was amazing! I imagined coming here and having concerts, it must be rad! But for now, I only worry about getting one thing from this city, and that is Caroline.

                “So, Wes, why is it that you need to find this girl?” Lucas asked me. He had the right to know…I guess…

                “It was a girl that I started dating, but I kind of messed up and she just left…” I didn’t want to get into details; I don’t need another person telling me how much I messed up. I recognized my mistake. I regret it so much. I just need her back

                Once we were in the penthouse, I found my room and went straight to bed, I can’t wait to go searching for my baby tomorrow, I hope she misses me. I wonder what her reaction will be…

Caroline’s POV

                I got dressed and walked over to the restaurant waiting for Lucas. Once I spotted him he made his way toward me with a smile. “Wait, your surprise is coming.” His smile was huge! I gave him a hug, which was when I saw…DREWBEAR!

                “Drewwwww!”

                “Caroline!” He smiled, but I also think he was a bit nervous, that was when I spotted Wes looking right at me with sad eyes. He was here…with Lucas?

                “Hi, Caroline.” Wes said.

                “Wes…why are you here?”

                “I was going to look for you, but Lucas insisted we came here, and that’s where I find you! I miss you Caroline, please let me explain-”

                “Wes don’t start okay!”

                “Wait, she’s the girl you told me about?” Lucas interrupted.

                “She’s the girl you were telling us about?” Wes asked with a hint of anger in his voice. What was going on? Now I was just confused.

                “Guys! Calm down, let’s talk ok?” Drew tried to calm everybody down; people were starting to look at us.

                “Well we shouldn’t talk here.” I said, so we all went to Lucas’ penthouse. It was so pretty there! He must love living here, I know I would!
