As his Pokémon were busy talking with each other, Lyon looked around once more to see if there was still anything he could assist with now that he had done with getting a new Pokémon. He noticed the glances of Pokémon that had rejected him just a while ago. Now after the battle, they acknowledged his might as a Trainer and gave him an expectant look but he ignored them. Lyon had given them the opportunity first but they refused. He didn't like giving second chances. And mainly because he gave Dratini a spot in his team already, which was also the final one he planned to give. His team was kind of full and he didn't want to clear a spot as he was very satisfied with his Pokémon. Even though they had some small flaws, Lyon believed it was his job to make them grow past their limits. Also, he had decided to not judge them with the knowledge of the series from his ex-world as he found the reality was distinct from what he knew. The base stats were only for reference. Nothing more. As Lyon didn't want to take care of an additional member, those dragon-type Pokémon now became irrelevant.
Picking up Pokéballs from the criminals, Lyon planned to release them somewhere far away so they wouldn't disrupt his peaceful life. Most of the injured had already received treatments. What was left was those who had light wounds that would be fine even if they didn't get treated. Still, the healer group decided to treat them all anyway. Aside from the pink pink lot who'd done most of the work of healing, others also lent a hand, doing errands around and stuff. But the most noticeable was the one that was making a big commotion from restoring the forest.
-Pii pii!
One could hear its merry voice from afar. As Lyon came near, he witnessed an exquisite, vibrant and radiant scene. Sparkling green light was emitting from Celebi's body, spreading in the air, permeating the damaged trees and the ground. It was magnificent to see Celebi restore the forest. Back then, while he was watching the series, Lyon only thought it had amazing power. But now he witnessed firsthand, he felt beyond that. It was so magical to the point of breathtaking. The scent of forest cleared his mind. Lyon felt the energy around him become vibrant as the forest came alive. Only then he realized: "Ah, right. Celebi is also a Mythical Pokémon."
Lyon understood he shouldn't do anything to interrupt so he waited from afar. As Celebi was engrossed with its work, others approached. A large group from various species united and synchronously cast a move. They wanted to lend a hand to rebuild their own home. Numerous Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Bellosom, Roserade, Tangela, Tangrowth, Flabébé, Floette, Florges, Comfey, Rillaboom,... gathered. Among them were some Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Paras, Chikorita, Hoppip, Sunkern, Treecko, Grovyle, Sceptile, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Turtwig, Cherubi, Cherrim, Cottonee, Whimsicott, Snivy, Sewaddle, Leavanny, Lilligant, Maractus, Skiddo, Amoonguss, Lurantis, Gossifleur, Eldegoss,... There were even some Pokémon in those fan-made games that he couldn't remember their names and others he surely hadn't seen anywhere. Lyon didn't know if they were from other versions that were released after he reincarnated or were original here, not created in the series by human hands.
But those weren't the things he needed to be concerned about. Just a thought and he dropped it as Lyon was occupied with admiring the view that was dyed even more green. It's like all of the inhabitants in the forest were summoned and united to perform a single colossal Grassy Terrain. And with Celebi as the lead, the world was lit up with lives. Although there were still some traces left, the damaged part now was fixed with the growing trees, flowers, and bushes.
When they finished, Celebi merrily rang its voice. Others also responded happily and began swirling around. After letting them play a bit, Lyon called for Celebi before heading back first. He was kind of tired, he wanted to have a rest. Celebi could go back anytime it wanted later.
The little green onion nodded before flying away. Lyon was speechless to see Celebi was so decisive in leaving. Well, it's good as long as the little green onion was lively like always. Now all things were resolved, he lifted his feet and went back to their home. "Is it because I'm too tired that my leg feels heavy? But why only my right leg..." Lyon was pondering when he looked down at his feet. But the scene unfolded was so bizarre he had to stop in surprise.
What appeared behind him was an orange, insectoid Pokémon. It had a round body with a white underside and four stumpy legs. It also had a proportionally large head, small black eyes with twinkle-shaped pupils, and a zigzagging mouth. Never in his wildest dream that there came a day where a Trapinch would bite the hem of his pants like a hatchling clinging to its mother.
Lyon tried to shake it off but no use. He was a bit afraid of tearing his pants if he used too much force. He thought of using his hands to pull Trapinch away but it wouldn't be good if his hand was bitten by that threatening mouth. Looked around, his Pokémon were just standing without doing anything.
-Hey, you guys. How about doing something?
Lyon stared back at them. He could hear they were giggling. His face must be so amusing earlier. Zangoose stepped up and took Trapinch away. Lyon could see it flail its legs like a baby was taken away from his mother. Lyon tried to drop the weird look on his face by breathing deeply. He then turned to ask his Pokémon.
-Can anybody tell me what happened? When did Trapinch follow us?
They looked at each other before Kirlia came closer and answered with Telepathy.
-Trapinch was following us from when you were asking around. It must be because you pick up the pace and Trapinch isn't fast enough, he had no other choice than to bite your pants.
It seemed like Trapinch also wanted to join them. He had no objection though. It was his plan to take one or two Pokémon from the beginning and Flygon wasn't bad at all. Though his team was kind of full, "Well, just one more I guess". From his observation, this Trapinch was very young. Its egg probably just hatched a while ago.
Lyon agreed and gave Trapinch his welcome but then he noticed it was vociferating something. He glanced at Riolu for an explanation and what he got was:
-Milord, he's hungry.
Lyon frowned as he remembered that he did take out the food earlier to feed his Pokémon and some others. "Wait a minute! Please don't tell me this is the reason Trapinch followed me!"
