Lyon didn't know how long it's been already. In the meantime, he organized those Pokémons in the battle formation and let them rest. This kind of anxiety is the worst. You have to keep waiting nervously for something have yet to come. You keep wondering when it'll come and worry about what would happen.

In the midst of anxiety, Lyon couldn't stop mocking in his mind. "Don't those reincarnations all have luxury life and tons of girls crawling onto their beds? Where are they? Give them to me. No no. I don't even need luxury or tons of girl. Normal life is already sufficient enough. Oh, is that still too much to ask? Then how about this? Stop letting me in those kinds of bullsh!ts. That's already plenty for me. Thank you." Lyon went mad. He kept cursing a nonexistent God. Apparently, that's how he relieve all the tension in his head.

- Master, everything will be fine.

What the f#ck? Lyon jolted when he heard a voice in his mind. It's not sound but he could still hear a full sentence in his brain. It's such a weird experience. What is this? Telepathy? Lyon immediately turned around to see what it was and a small, a blue figure came into sight. There's a kind of canine Pokémon standing in front of him. It had black legs and torso, a blue tail, a yellow collar, rounded bumps on the backs of its forepaws, a black "mask", red eyes and had developed two black appendages that hang down from its head. It stands on its toes instead of its entire foot.

- Riolu? Are you the one talking to me?

Lyon couldn't help but tilt his head while inquiring the appeared Pokémon. And to his surprise, Riolu gave him an affirmative response.

- Yes, Master.

"Ooookay. When did I get myself a servant? What is this? A new kind of trolling?"

- Whaaat? Why? When? How?

Lyon couldn't stop asking because this was ridiculous. You can't just come up to someone and declare that from now on they are your master. But Riolu pulled it off without a flinch.

- That was when Master gave me an order and I acknowledged. From that time, I swear my allegiance to Master.

"What? So when you come up to someone and tell that they are your master, it works. The proof is I'm fine with this." Lyon couldn't help but retort in his mind. But well... he's really okay with it. He got himself a real loyal servant. Hah. There's no way he was going to pass such a chance to have a great potential Pokémon.

- Okay, but don't call me master. I feel weird.

- Yes, my Lord.

Lyon staggered and almost collapsed on the ground when hearing Riolu's answer. Master or Lord, aren't they the same? He looked back at the blue Pokémon behind.

- Well, whatever.

Lyon shrugged his shoulders and went back to his position. He could hear Ariados's shriek already.

- Everyone. Ready!!!

Tension rose in the air. He saw those spiderwebs were ripped and a huge figure appeared. When he was young, Lyon had a big question relating to its name: Pocket Monsters. Why are they being called monsters? They're hella cute and all. But there's a reason for everything. Because they're literally damn monsters. Imagine there's a spider as tall as you giving a bloodthirsty look. Would you think it's so cute and try to pet? Or get the hell out of there? The so brave people can stay. But Lyon's sure that he's going to run away immediately.

Ariados started screaming in angry when it saw all of its preys were freed. And Lyon could feel that he got the most aggro. Damn! Now there's no turning back.

Ariados shot out multiple spiderwebs and they weaved a huge sticky net. There's no doubt that the net could trap anything come into contact with it. This should be Sticky Web but the net was way too big it could cover the whole group. Lyon immediately gave an order.

- Repel!

He kept it short and easy to understand when he commanded a lot of Pokémons at the same time. They only had to remember some keywords and reacted according to his plan. Had heard his order, they all used their respective moves to push back the net. Some use Water Gun, some use Bullet Seed or Gust... They all had one intention on their mind: push the net back to the opponent. But sadly, it's neither going forward or backward but stay in the middle between their group and Ariados.

After realizing that it couldn't capture the preys this way, Ariados got angry and changed its thread. The net then turned purple and there was even some toxic gas release.

"Sh!t! Is this some kind of combined move?" Lyon could clearly distinguished this was not just Sticky Web when the thread turned from white to purple. It looked like you would get deadly poison if you came in touch with these. This Ariados must have combined Sticky Web with Toxic Thread, its signature move.

The good thing was that the net's being pushed back gradually. Ariados was certainly powerful but it's still a bit lacking to confront with a large number of Pokémons. Lyon then yelled on top of his lungs to encourage them further.

- FULL POWER!!!

After hearing his command, they put all of their might into the moves. Different colors from varieties of skills jumbled together were like a firework show. But the energy emitted from them was no joke. A sudden increase in power broke the balance. Then the huge net entangled Ariados. Having trapped inside its own webs made it even more furious.

But this was a good chance, there's no way he would let it slip. "To hit a person who is down, huh? That's my specialty!" Hurriedly, he shouted to the Pokémons.

- FIRE!!!

Among the Pokémons, some cast Sunny Day. Dozens of mini-suns appeared and rose up in the air. They emitted intense heat and made all the water evaporated. A group of Vivillons used their signature move Powder. They released from their wings combustible powder which was carried by the wind from other Pokémons' moves. They cooperated to fully cover the huge spider with it. Some others used their moves to tie down Ariados, to make sure it wouldn't be able to escape in the midst of the attacks.

Then all of the Pokémons which could use Fire-type moves released their ultimate attack. Ember, Fire Spin, Flame Burst, Flame Wheel, Flamethrower, Will-O-Wisp... The flame combined together and shot straight to the opponent.

- TAKE COVER!

As if they already prepared for his command, the Pokémons were all hidden before he could react. Survival instinct kicked in, huh. Lyon was only able to lie down on the ground. The good thing was he wasn't the one standing on the front line. Lyon could also feel something covering his back. He guessed it should be Riolu.

The moment they came in contact with each other, it exploded. A horrendous noise made his ears ringing. He could feel how intense the heat was from all the way here. After a while, Lyon raised his head and turned to look at the scene.

Combustible powder and flame, the result was a big explosion that scorched the ground. Ariados was entangled with spiderwebs and other things from the moves the Pokémons used to tie it down. They were all flammable materials. And now it looked like a burning torch.

Lyon executed this plan because he knew Ariados was weak against fire. It succeeded. Now everything's over. Nah. In your dream. This bastard was still alive and kicking. The proof was that it kept shrieking. He got a headache from hearing these annoying sounds. Just die already, b!tch!!!
