His name was Lyon Rosewood, or at least it's the way he named himself. 25 years ago, he had been abandoned at the orphanage. Sisters had found him wrapped in a white blanket with a red letter "L". As time went by, he grew up splendidly. Even though there was a lot of hardships, he still tried hard and became a researcher at a young age. He thought that all his endeavors paid off.
But things did not go well. Even when he was very careful, his professor and colleague cooperated and managed to steal his research findings. As he was desperate, a company held out an olive branch to him with a condition. They wanted to have the rights to use his research findings. Lyon agreed. He had no choice when those betrayers claimed that it was their research findings and accused him of slandering them. Lyon knew that company only used him to fight against their rival company. It turned out those betrayers had sold his research findings for a large sum of money. He was always wary of his own professor and colleague but never imagined that they betrayed him just for money. He was disappointed at how cheap they were. They went great length to accuse him so he expected they were promised to receive something extraordinary. And there they were, in the jail for such a trivial reason.
Then, things were settled, the company got what they wanted and he had his name cleared. But he still felt uneasy without a reason. Laughing at himself, he wondered just when he became a worrywart. As he strode down the street, the number of passengers was decreasing because it turned late in the night. He only wanted to come home to rest after all these messes.
He quickened his pace as the street grew emptier. There were not enough lampposts near his house to light up the area. But as the local man, he didn't really need to light up every meter to walk around. Then there was a loud noise made him turn his head. A blinding light made him squint.
There was a big Jeep going towards his way. He intended to step aside but he noticed the Jeep accelerated. He startled a bit then regained himself to quickly go to the side. But the Jeep also turned its head to his standing place. He jumped aside before thinking but that wasn't enough. The Jeep dragged his body a quite long distance and crashed into a shop beside the street.
Before his heart stopped beating, he realized the reason why he was assassinated. It seemed like his existence stood in the way of some people. He let out a dry laugh. He was so not ready to die. Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhh!

"It hurts! It really hurts!"
Lyon had to wake up due to an unbearable headache. As he opened his eyes, a lot of scenes flashed through his mind. These were scenes from his past life and this body's owner's life. He was not really sure how to feel anymore.
Anger! There were some people trampled others easily like how they kill an ant. They had the power to do whatever they want. So got rid of an eyesore like him was not a big deal. Lyon was not only angry at them who treated him like weed but also angry at himself for being powerless and letting they did whatever they want to him.
Grief! He tried as hard as he could. So what... All he got was a big metallic cake smashed into his face. His effort meant nothing when he died. Just why he had to endure all those hardships? To get a ticket to the other side? Ha ha ha! Such a big reward!
Happy? He should be when he got another chance to live. But then again what is this? He felt tired. It was hard to live. He's not sure if he wanted to go through all the things he had gone through again. When your effort suddenly disappeared like bubbles and you were asked to do it again, you wanted to do nothing, especially it's not something you like to do. A hobby is such a fancy thing for an orphan to have. So, he kept moving forward soullessly, not really sure if he really made any progress or just got stuck at the same place.
But all these were just fleeting feelings, Lyon was overwhelmed by anxiety at that time. He wondered why he was born. He had been an orphan in his past life. Now he became a 5-year-old kid being abandoned in the middle of a forest. Whichever world he lived, he was always alone. Ha. He let out a dry laugh. F#ck that!
Lyon noticed a pendant was worn around his neck. It was a platinum chain with a big green sapphire. Sister had found this pendant inside the blanket and later gave it to him. The pendant shouldn't be here. How come it went to this world? As he pondering, the light in the sapphire began to fade and its color turned to grey. He wanted to use his hands to raise it but the sapphire turned to ashes the moment he touched it. But there was still the platinum part left. He thought of an absurd answer. It was probably because of this sapphire that he could be reincarnated in this world. It's kind of sad that the sapphire turned to ashes. But fortunately, what remained was still looked like a pendant.
He sat up and looked around. There were bushes, trees, stones... Yup! He was totally in a freaking forest. He thought about the chance a 5-year-old kid survived in the wilds and the conclusion was very slim. Soon he was going to die again. F#ck! An#/5)@eoic$&24wql-¥°☆%
Yeah, it felt better after swearing. Now he had to move to find some food. He couldn't ignore loud noises in his stomach any longer. Suddenly, he heard a rustle behind him. He was on the alert and turned around. Hopefully, it's not some kind of predators. It was then he saw a kind of familiar animal.
– Furret!!!
It was a long and slim-bodied Pokémon with brown and cream-colored fur, strongly resembling a ferret. It had two brown lines on each cheek and cream-tipped ears. The back of its head had brown coloration that loosely framed its eyes and terminated into the first of four medium-sized brown rings that ranged from the middle of its torso to near the end of its tail, making it impossible to tell where its tail actually began. Its stubby paws all had pink paw pads; its forepaws ended in brown while its hind paws were cream.
Yup! It was definitely a Furret. He tried to look into the memories of this body's owner. It seemed like he was reincarnated in a Pokémon world. As he came to this conclusion, he felt like electricity was running through his body. How long had it been since the last time he felt this excitement? He was a fan of Pokémon. Now he had a chance to live like in all of his dreams a long time ago.
Well, it was not the most important matter now. He had to eat or died of starving. Lyon stood up and walked away. He didn't have any interests in Furret. Even if he had, there's no Poké Ball to catch Furret.
After looked through the memories of this body's owner, he decided to use the last name of his mother in this world. So from now on, it was going to be Lyon Heinberg's journey.
