Lyon could feel something fluffy caressing his face. He opened his eyes to identify what was that. In front of him was a furry, gray chinchilla-like Pokémon with scruffs of fur on its head and neck. It had large ears on the sides of its head with red insides partly covered by tufts of fur. It had large, brown eyes and a small, dot-like nose. Its limbs were somewhat rounded and small, and its ears and tail had white tips. The tail was also long and particularly furry.

- Oh, it's you, Minccino.

Lyon realized it was brushing its tail against his face. He put his right hand at the back of its neck and lifted it up, prevent it from brushing again. He just couldn't handle the itches.

- My Lord.

Yup, it's him. Lyon didn't have to see to know who it was. He nodded his head as an answer to Riolu. Then an iron spike appeared floating in front of his eyes. It had some kind of purple energy spreading out.

- What is this? Poison Barb?

Oh, yeah. That explained how Ariados had such strong Poison-type moves. It didn't really matter when Ariados was already dead though.

Lyon turned to look at the Pokémon which was using Telekinesis to bring Poison Barb to him. It was a bipedal, feline Pokémon. Its fur was a pale gray with white tips on its ears and white paws. There were tousled tufts of fur on its head, cheeks, shoulders, chest, and hips. It had wide, pale purple eyes with darker purple pupils, a tiny nose, and a small mouth. When its mouth was open, two pointed teeth could be seen on its upper jaw. Its tail was fluffy and slightly curled.

- Espurr, you want to give me this?

Lyon asked and received a nod as an answer from Espurr. He put Poison Barb away even though it was a bit useless to him right now. Well, later he could use it as some experimental materials.

Lyon noticed that sleeping beside him was a fawn-like Pokémon, resembling a fallow deer. Depended on which season, the upper side of its body could change color. Pink in the spring, green in the summer, orange in the autumn, and brown in the winter. Right now it was orange. It had a yellow patterned rim, and its underside was peach. It sported a yellow floral tuft on its head and similar yellow coloration on the insides of its tapering ears. The tips of its limbs were colored black and its orange tail was small. Lyon tried to stand from his sitting place and made sure to not wake Deerling up because it seemed to be pretty tired.

Ouch, he almost screamed when his sore-all-over body rebelled against him from making it work too hard. A child's body just couldn't withstand these kinds of sh!t. Lyon had totally forgotten he's not a 25-year-old man anymore. Now he could only loll on the floor to stop the pains from emerging again. "Nah, nothing could make me move from this spot." That's what he had thought before glancing at the nearby place.

Lyon remembered he had checked and confirmed his Pokémons were only fainted and didn't have any severe wounds. But now, when he looked at them, Kirlia, Zangoose, and Honedge appeared to be fine except Sylveon. Somehow at the place Sylveon had been, there was Eevee instead.

Lyon panicked and immediately crawled as fast as he could towards Eevee despite the fact that he couldn't move because of the pain earlier. After checking, he was kind of relieved to know that they all just fainted. But then a question popped up: "Why did Sylveon devolve to Eevee?" Well, they're okay now. That's all that mattered.

Lyon inspected Honedge to analyze where were the differences and why it had been acting abnormally but he was only able to see while it was impossible to touch. There's some kind of force that pushed his hands away. He's only able to figure out Honedge was in a coma or something. That's why it behaved like a sword in Zangoose's hands. And this also meant Honedge approved Zangoose as its owner.

Now Zangoose got its own weapon, he then started to think about Kirlia's weapon. Just stick wouldn't do. And on top of it, Kirlia's horns were used to amplify its psychokinetic power. Lost its horns meant that lost a part of its power. So Lyon wanted to create a weapon could replace its horns as an amplifier. But first, he needed to gather some experimental materials like Ralts's, Kirlia's, Gardevoir's or Gallade's horns.

Lyon looked down at the pit and as he thought, there were some Ralts's, Kirlia's and also others' carcasses. He could make use of these so he asked those Grass-type Pokémons to bring the carcasses along. They bound those carcasses together with their vines.

Now, let's get out of here! He didn't want to spend another minute in this sinister cave. Lyon instructed them to cooperate to have all of them climb to the high up exit. Some used vines. Some used strings. Some used psychokinetic power. Flying-type Pokémons carried those didn't have the ability to climb or fly. This tunnel must have led to the outside but well... it was like a maze. Lyon would have lost if he was alone.

The cave was filled with total darkness. Lyon couldn't see anything so he had to depend on other Pokémons to lead him outside. What scared him the most was that he could hear some noises similar to Ariados's sound. Here was probably a swarm of Spinaraks and Ariadoses. The one Lyon and others had fought against probably was their leader. But they let Lyon and others pass without making any troubles. He was a bit surprised but understood after giving it some thoughts. That huge Ariados probably ate its own kinds too. So no wonder they didn't mourn or try to take revenge. Accidentally, they were also liberated from tyranny.

Lyon went up, down, left, right till he was totally lost direction. Then he waded across an unusual creek flowing through the tunnel. His feet were submerged in cold water until he reached the other side. Lyon walked for another ten minutes before abruptly stopping. There's a crevice or something like that in front. He had to depend on other Pokémon to help him fly over. When he continued to grope in the dark and accidentally touched something sticky above his head, a shriek was let out from a Spinarak. Lyon couldn't help but shudder when thinking there were spiderwebs all over the top of the tunnel.

Finally, after a turn, Lyon reached the end of the tunnel. He could see sunlight from the outside. No matter how much Lyon wanted to immediately sprint towards the exit, he still tried to endure from breaking the formation. Lyon had to use his hand to shield his eyes from the bright light. Though it made him squint, he didn't feel discontent at all.

Now when everything was over, he finally relieved from the pressure. Lyon couldn't even express how delighted he was when he was able to breathe the outside's air again. It's a bliss to be free. Good thing was that they didn't have to battle again or they would be wiped out.
