6. Battle (I)

After they fainted, both Poochyena and Numel went back to their respective Pokéballs. Those two men gaped at the sight in front of them as if there was an alien.

- What the hell was that? Eevee can use that kind of move?

- Double Kick, Rain Dance, and that damage-dealing Water-type move? Oy, kid. What was that?

- Work Up.

"They're so noisy. Well, it's not like I care what they're talking about. Their fates are already sealed in my head. It's pointless to talk to dead men."

Eevee's body momentarily became surrounded by a light red aura. Lyon could feel it was overflowed with power. The two saw his action and got mad.

- What the f#ck? Such a rude kid! You don't even listen when people talk to you. Come out, my babies! Graveler. Grimer.

- Huh, It seemed like we underestimate you. I'm gonna rip that pretty face of yours apart. Come! Golbat. Koffing.

"F#ck! Who's the rude one here? They use four Pokémons to fight against one and still have the nerve to say I'm rude. Shameless!!!"

- Growl.

Eevee opened its mouth and let out a piercing cry that distorted the air and made opponents all groan in pain. This move would lower its attack stat.

- Sh!t! Graveler, Grimer, aim at that ki... What the f#ck? Where is him?

- He's hidden already. Just beat this Eevee and he'll show up.

Lyon had hidden just in case they wanted to attack him again. "But to think those scums really intend to kill me first."

- Graveler, Stone Edge. Grimer, Sludge Bomb. The target is that Eevee.

- Golbat, Venoshock. Koffing, Sludge Bomb. Beat it up.

Multiple orbs of glowing gray light appeared and spun around Graveler's body. Then, a lot of big rocks were created from the orbs and fired at Eevee. Both Grimer and Koffing opened their mouth and released a stream of aubergine sludge towards their front. And Golbat sent forth a gush of purple, poisonous liquid. The situation was pretty dire for Eevee. Lyon then shouted immediately.

- Double Team. Dodge!

Eevee let out a short bark and its body started to glow. Then multiple copies of itself appeared and surrounded the four Pokémons. Golbat's Venoshock, Grimer's and Koffing's Sludge Bomb all hit Eevee's fake copies and exploded on the ground. But one of the big rocks which was created from Graveler's Stone Edge struck Eevee's real body. Lyon could hear its groans but Double Team's effect still remained. There were a lot of other copies left. This was the result of their training so Eevee's Double Team wouldn't fade regardless of the weather or being hit by other's skills.

- Why was Double Team not stopped?

- Be careful! This Eevee is not like any other Eevees.

- Stored Power!

Lyon caught them off guard and ordered Eevee to attack. Its eyes and body both glowed light blue. Then, all the energy rushed forwards, formed a light blue orb in its mouth and released all that stored energy at Koffing. Lyon taught Eevee that in a battle, they should knock the weakest one out first. Koffing was inflicted with large damage by Store Power, which was super effective to it, and almost fainted. One could see that it would collapse at any moment.

- Damn it! Koffing, use Self-Destruct.

The pink man shouted in angry after seeing the situation. "What the f#ck? Are you part of the terrorists?" Lyon saw Koffing's body started to glow white. He let out a roar instantly.

- Endure!!!

There was some kind of aura rose from its body. One can feel its will power overflowed. It was also the time Koffing came closer to Eevee and exploded, left a big hole on the ground, caused clouds of dust to rise and cover their eyes. Koffing fainted after that suicide move and went back to its Pokéball. Lyon knew Eevee was still in that smoke and endured Self-Destruct. He immediately told Eevee to use another move while they're still busy looking.

- Wish.

Eevee raised its head and let out a long howl like it was wishing to the sky. Its body was wrapped in the golden holy aura and there were sparkling lights appeared in the clouds above responding to its wish.

- Grimer, use Gunk Shot. Graveler, use Rock Blast. Target the middle.

- Golbat, use Air Slash. Blow the smoke away and intercept it.

- Double Team again.

They both shouted hurriedly. Their Pokémons reacted instantly. Grimer opened its mouth and hurled a black bag of garbage outlined in purple at the front. It exploded on the ground, sending pieces of glowing purple garbage flying. Graveler's forehead glowed then brown rings appeared and spun around its body. The rings turned into glowing brown rocks that spun around its body as well. Graveler then fired the glowing brown rocks to the middle of the smoke one after one. Golbat's wings glowed light blue and it flapped them, releasing multiple light blue glowing saw disc-like energy blades from its wings at Eevee. The air pressure blew away the smoke but Eevee was nowhere to be seen.

After seeing the situation, the pink man couldn't help but scream in worry.

- Be careful!

It's useless because they already could hear Lyon's cold voice.

- Flail!

Then they saw Eevee appeared behind Grimer and jumped at it. Eevee flailed around its legs. Grimer was caught off guard and was hit repeatedly by Eevee's legs. Eevee's stamina was really low, that made Flail really powerful. After the move, Grimer fainted immediately and returned to its Pokéball.

There was starlight from the clouds above and wrapped around Eevee. The holy aura started to restore Eevee's health. But Lyon could recognize Eevee was in pain and sometimes a faint purple light appeared. And he concluded that Grimer's ability was Poison Touch. Golbat's trainer also saw that and immediately ordered.

- Leech Life! Drained its blood.

Golbat flew near and opened its mouth. "You want to take advantage of the situation to give one last hit, huh?" Lyon commanded Eevee instantly.

- Facade!

Eevee became surrounded in an orange aura for a moment. It then tackled the opponent. Due to the impact, Golbat had to back away a quite distance. Eevee was poisoned so Facade's base power doubled. But as expected, Golbat wouldn't go down after only taking a hit.

Lyon thought that "Eevee had to continue to fight for a long time. It's best to restore its health. Refresh only cures abnormalities so that's not enough. Well, I know what I should do next."

- Rest.

Eevee fell asleep and its body glowed in bright green. Rest would recover all of its health and cure status abnormalities. Now it could keep fighting longer.
